Despite the fairly violent recent troubles that Amy Winehouse has been experiencing, she is beginning to make public appearances again at social events. The other night she appeared at the Harvey Nichols store for an event hosted by the Olsen sisters to launch a new restaurant The Row. This appearance was a bit of a shock for some as just the night before Amy had missed the Q Awards. It may have been best if she had attended the awards as she won against Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Cheifs, and Manic Street Preachers to win the Best Album award for Back to Black. In her absentia, producer Mark Ronson collected the award on her behalf but **somehow** the award was forgotten and seen in the toilet room at Bar Soho after the event. Consensus seems to be she is still a little too out of it to care at this point, but really, it would be nice to hear something good and decent happen to this girl.
