Amy Winehouse Slip Slip Slipping Away

Here is Amy Winehouse in yet another stunning revelation of what glam isn’t. Yep, can almost see right through her at this point. And no boys and girls, this fairy tale isn’t any different than days gone past. In fact, today’s story starts on day four, that is, her fourth consecutive day of erratic behavior where Amy did the usual stumbling around London in a fog with white stuff smeared under her nose. During her little stumble stint, she stopped at a local store to ease a sugar fix and ended up spitting at one of the local photographers. Yep, cuz that’s the way to get a GOOD reputation sweetheart. And is it just me, or is she literally fading into the night? Super-skinny Amy Winehouse will be no more if she keeps this up. And another thing, is it not amazing how long those flipping ballets can really last? I mean, this is a woman that walks around FOR HOURS. I don’t get it, I just don’t.

I’m not sure of the laws but is there anyway she can be forced to get help? It just seems wrong to watch someone self destructing in such a grand fashion

What REALLY seems wrong is how columns like this just never let up on the poor woman. Through the ages, most true artists have been tormented. It’s a major part of what makes them artists and the rest of us, not. Even if we might approach similar depths of feeling, we can’t express it as they do. The world would be a much sadder place without artists like Amy; as for a world without gossip columnists — well, a person can dream, can’t he?

I’m sorry…did I just read that Amy is a ‘poor’ woman? Sorry but I just can’t seem to change MY point of view:if I’m rich or poor, artist or blue-collar worker, a knock-out in the looks department or an average Joe, no matter whats going on in my life, if I sniff it up or sprtiz it in, I’m ruining my life! I myself am an artist of sorts so what you’re saying is that gives me the right to walk around like Amy does? Sure, everyone is entittled to their own life, but I believe that if I am such a public entity, I should use this publicity for a good cause. What ever happened to celebs being role models? Would you want to follow in Miss Winehouse steps? NO THANKS!
As far as gossip columnists go…you’re reading this…aren’t you?
