Yep, we saw this one coming down the pike a ways back. Amy Winehouse has in fact been arrested over an alleged 200,000 pound plot to ‘fix’ her husband’s assault trial. Her reaction to the arrest was only to be expected from the likes of her. Terms like screaming, sobbing, and hysterical were used. In fact, they even had to pull in a team of shrinks to calm her down. To top off the big scene, she flat out passed out in the car on her way home. None of this was a shock though apparently, as police had already been warned she was short a few of the normal bricks and in fact, my guess would be the shrinks had been called in just for this occasion. She arrived a the Shoreditch Police Station in East London on Tuesday for an ‘arrest by appointment’ where she went through the rigamarole – DNA, fingerprint, interview, arrest, and on and on. She was interviewed for 2 hours and fifteen minutes then released on bail. My question is, what EXACTLY is it going to take for her to get her act together? Really, if not this, I question whether it’s even possible.
