Britney Spears a Suicide Risk?

Experts are now saying that Britney Spears is showing signs of bipolar disorder and depression and may be at risk for suicide. The expert that is speaking most loudly about this is Marty Brenner, an analyst and addiction expert in Beverly Hills (sidenote — wow, he must be a busy man!). Though he hasn’t actually treated Britney for anything, by watching her fall apart from the sidelines like everyone else has, he is making these assertions that Britney is on a fast train to nowhere that is about to come to a screeching halt. Her latest antics are that she made a bit of a scene of herself (cough, AS usual) on Saturday night in Hollywood. Check out Heidi’s awesome post for the real dirt on that evening. Yep, I am pretty much shaking my head over the whole thing myself, I mean no surprise really. This kind of behavior is getting her the attention she wants, so I really don’t see it ending any time soon. And I really wonder about the suicide risk as well, hard to say from the sidelines, but that would definitely be the ultimate news coo for the girl if she really went that far. Suffice it to say, the girl needs help. And FAST.

I love it when “experts” insert themselves into the news by deciding to “diagnose” someone they have never even met.

    Can you spell “unethical”?

Given the life celebrities lead, it’s surprising that more don’t commit suicide. I’m reasonably sure fame would accentuate my imbalance to put me over the edge.
