And no, not disposed, deposed, as in, appearing to provide a deposition in her fugly custody battle. Britney Spears is saying that her now world famous meltdown on Thursday was the result of a deposition she attended that day. She thought the deposition robbed her of time with her children and wanted some make-up time, which both Kevin Federline and his lawyer declined. So she decided to do the smart thing and lock herself up in her bedroom with Jayden. Well, we all know what happened next. However, reports are that this was not the case. The reason she had been deposed in the first place was because she yet again, failed to show the day prior. Thursday’s deposition was supposed to last from 9:45 AM to 11:45 AM and she did not appear until 11:32.

14 minutes later the deposition was over. While she did have some visitation rights on the morning of the deposition, she only had them from 7 AM until noon, so the amount of time she missed with her kids was in the 30 minute mark range. Which, granted, when you only have 5 hours can be a lot, but the alternative, having a meltdown over it and creating more publicity for yourself is so much more appealing, isn’t it? Is anyone not seeing the bigger picture here? I mean, the picture bigger than that Britney will do anything for publicity, because that is old news. If she had just done the responsible thing and showed up the day before, none of this would have happened. That’s right Britney, when you do what you are supposed to do, things don’t always have to get ugly.
