It’s so funny what celebs say when they don’t really, you know, think. Charlize Theron is the latest on the oops list, by making a geographical faux pas that shows that she’s not a goddess of perfection after all. Yes, the girl is human. She recently did a backpacking thing with her boyfriend and attended the Istanbul International Film Festival in Turkey. When talking to the press about her trip, she gushed about it. Loved the Turkish carpets, Turkish bazaar’s and what not, and just loved the heaps of attention she received while she was in Budapest. OK em, in her interview, she actually referred to Budapest a recorded 3 times! Which would have been fine, except that she forgot Budapest is in Hungary, and Istanbul is in Turkey, and Charlize was in Istanbul. She enjoyed the backpacking nature of the trip, saying she wanted to experience the cultures, and thus avoided the luxury hotels. Hmm. I’m thinking that’s a great idea… in theory… but I’m also thinking a few extra hours sleep on a king size with room service may have kept her tools a little sharper the next day.
