Avril Lavigne to Go into Beauty?
It seems that Avril Lavigne wants to join the ranks of Posh, Celine, Britney, and Shania among many others. What do all these celebs have in common? Their own fragrance line complete with all the pretty smelly doodads that go with it – lotion, talc, soap, aftershave, etc. Avril wants to trademark her name in connection with a variety of pretty smelly things and in fact has even made moves with the United States Patent and Trademark Office to do so. Of course, none of Avril’s people can be reached for comment on the subject, but it’s interesting to say the least. Who woulda thunk that this cute little pop singer had some business hootzpah?
