Yes, Tyra Banks is remembering the days of yore when the peace lovers and tree huggers were burning their bras in protest. On Thursday, Tyra had some friends and audience members from The Tyra Banks Show gathered out on the streets of New York City for a ritual bra burning ceremony of sorts. Why? Oh, well, not sure exactly. She was doing a segment for the show, and since she is all about ‘I am Woman Hear Me Roar’ the stunt probably had some kind of feministic edge to it. In other Tyra news, a new show has been given the green-light by the CW network that is being described as a “The Apprentice” meets “The Devil Wears Prada”. Who is playing the devil I wonder? The show is serving as a companion show to American’s Next Top Model and is going to be a competition for aspiring fashion editor assistants. Contestants will need to prove they are talented in both administrative duties as well as aspiring fashionistas. And I guess….the best dressed girl will win!
