Amy Winehouse was diagnosed with a severe skin condition known as impetigo recently. The condition is characterized by a blistery crusty rash, and is caused by a bacteria apparently. Yummy! Alongside these symptoms Amy is experiencing symptoms such as severe swelling and bruising which is leading to a lot of speculation that she’s uh, been knocked down, and got back up again. Well, you know, it wouldn’t be the first time. She’s on antibiotics to treat the infection, but even though it is highly contagious, she still did her best to conceal her swollen face to head out and visit her hubby in prison. What’s a little bacteria amongst prison walls anyway, right? On top of all this, she’s about to have a meeting with her record producers who may be forcing her back into rehab. Seems shortly after her highly acclaimed Grammy’s win, she fell off the wagon and collapsed after a cocktail of prescription and illegal drugs. And then the camera pans over to her stellar husband, who is recuperating from having had 50 stitches tossed in his arm and legs after a little self-harm jaunt in his prison cell. Smashing couple, aren’t they? He says he misses her, but gets a little frustrated when she can’t even show up on time for visits. Not too selfish, I would say. Ah let’s see, she has a skin eating bacteria to contend with, AND she may lose her job, AND she has to go back to rehab. But let’s rip ourselves to shreds because she’s a little late sometimes. Sheesh, what is with this man? Maybe she should take her impetigo bacteria and stay a little longer for your visit sweetheart, make up for some of that lost time.
