It seems that news of greasy Pete Doherty’s 14 week jail stint is hardly making the waves he’d like. His GF Irina Lazareanu tried to contact his ex Kate Moss to let her know, and Kate couldn’t be bothered to dignify with a return call. What will Pete think? Is Kate the one flame that will burn forever in his heart? Who knows, who cares, Kate doesn’t. Even when his good friend Amy Wino found out he was in the clink she laughed. What does that tell you? And the fans? Well, they’re kind of ticked that he’s cancelling the biggest gig of his career, the Royal Albert Hall. I think the term ‘selfish’ was used for that one. His promoters aren’t too tickled either. He caused a huge financial loss when his jail term left the promotors of UK Battle of the Bands high and dry when he was supposed to appear as a judge. Pete’s in jail, and the response seems to be anger, laughter, and apathy. Shocking.
