Here is greasy Pete Doherty as he wiles his time away in London’s Wormwood Scrubs jail. Doherty will be spending the next 3 ½ months here after failing to undergo drug testing and after admitting to the possession of heroin, cannabis, crack, and the ever popular horse tranquilizer ketamine. Does it seem redundant to ask him for testing if he’s admitted to possessing the substances? Hm. But don’t go all bleeding heart for him, he seems to not only be doing fairly well, he’s also managed to figure out how to maintain his habit while in the clink. Yep. He’s rumored to be injecting smack and is paying for his drugs through IOU’s and begging for credit. Yeah, credit amongst users, not a more reliable source than that I say. And even though his cell is located in the Scrubs detox wing, his cell mate is a known drug dealer. Gotta love the smarts in that clink, I tell you. So life is sweet, and despite the fact that he’s in a security prison, the guards are still giving him the royal treatment with the regular line up for autographs and all. As for his drug use, a prison spokesperson says, ‘we will act on any intelligence that indicates drugs are being smuggled or abused’. Uh hello, what more do you need??
