Star Jones has been known to be quite the headline maker with her feisty attitude running her in and out of hot water with the press. She also made headlines in 2004 when she earned the nickname ‘Bridezilla’ for planning the corporate-sponsored wedding of the century. And now, just a few years later, it turns out that Star Jones and her banker hubby filed for the D-bomb about a month ago. But THIS time, Star isn’t so attention happy. She says this is a difficult time, and would be for anyone, and she wants privacy with her thoughts. She is committed to handling the situation this time with dignity and grace and is looking forward to coming out the other side as a stronger and wiser woman. That might be a switch for her considering the past dignity and grace have not oft been words used to describe Star. She self-admits that she may have ‘abused’ her celebrity in planning her wedding and that inviting the press to this intimate day may have been an error in judgment. Oh, do you think? But this time, she’s pretty sure she doesn’t want the press around for her divorce proceedings. Knowing Star, it may get a little feisty. So let’s just leave her alone with her private thoughts, shall we?
