Britney Heads to the Beach With Mel Gibson
Ever since her national meltdown, actor Mel Gibson has taken Britney Spears under his wings so to speak to befriend her and offer her some friendly support. This is no surprise given that they are neighbors and practically live in each other’s back yards. They’ve had dinner parties and socialized, but last week they took it a step further by vacationing together in Costa Rica at Mel’s private Costa Rica ranch. And all the stops were pulled out as they hailed Mel’s private jet and headed out to the northwest beach region of Guanacaste to what is being called ‘one of’ Mel’s Costa Rican homes. Britney took some much needed R & R sunbathing, playing around with an ATV, and enjoying the Costa Rican waters. Mel’s deep spiritual roots are no secret, and there has been some talk that the trip is a spiritual retreat. What, is Britney finding God now? It would be just another step in Britney’s road to emotional, and now perhaps spiritual growth.
