Here is Nicole Richie hanging out outside of the DCMA store in Los Angeles this week. She was joined by her boyfriend and baby daddy Joel Madden and his brother Benji at one point. And it seems that Joel is going to have to keep the boyfriend title, at least for a little while, as it seems that the happy parenting team are not headed down the aisle any time soon. Both partners say that they don’t have plans for that right now, but that they are just enjoying their daughter, enjoying being a family, and just enjoying happiness. They say marriage means something different to everyone…..not sure what that means, marriage since the general concept is pretty consistent straight across the board, but they are Tinseltown’s favorite hippy pair, aren’t they? It seems that all they want to focus on is ‘happiness’ and ‘being happy’ and ‘making each other happy’. Perhaps they’ve been in Hollywood too long since, for most people, that IS what marriage is all about. Good that they aren’t rushing then!

Well it looks like Amy Winehouse was given a weekend pass after all, as she seemed to make it to quite a few events this weekend. She is seen here performing in her usual odd glory at the Glastonbury Music Festival decked out with cocktail umbrellas adorning her lovely beehive. Amy was given reprieve by her doctors to do a little work this weekend, and she was seen at both the Nelson Mandela bash as well as the Glastonbury Festival. Despite her health concerns and possible emphysema, Amy made it first to the stage for Nelson Mandela, looking composed but slightly unsteady and performed her best known songs “Rehab” and “Valerie”. She also made it to the end of the show for a group performance with all performers for the bash of The Specials 1984 hit ‘Free Nelson Mandela’. Later in the weekend she appeared at the Glastonbury Festival, and in true Amy style, you had to know the composure wasn’t going to last long. At one point after taking the stage, she climbed into the pit and began scuffling with a fan. Noone is sure what sparked her little broo ha ha, but you know, Amy is Amy. Wherever she goes a trainwreck is sure to follow

Here is Madonna seen leaving her New York apartment amid swirling rumors that her marriage is officially over. The very fact that she is spending time in her New York home as opposed to her London home is but one element that indicates her marriage with Guy Ritchie is done. It is rumored that Madonna has hired top divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who coincidentally is the same lawyer who represented Sir Paul McCartney in his case against Heather Mills. It doesn’t sound like Madonna has had any pre-nuptial agreements in place with Guy, so given that she is worth almost $600 million dollars, a top divorce lawyer familiar with ugly and big financial estates could be necessary for Madonna. By all accounts there is no repair for her marriage, and she and Guy have been on completely different pages, and continents, for some time. On a recent trip to Milan as a couple, the two left the children at home with a nanny and slept in separate bedrooms. All schedules and plans as well were entirely opposite, and the couple’s vacay was anything but. Sources close to the couple say the two are more friends than spouses at this point, loving each other and raising the children together as friends, but all in all, they annoy each other and don’t agree on anything. Not only do they not live together any more, they hardly even see each other, and treat each other more as brother and sister than husband or wife. Ouch! No bitterness or blame however, they both have just decided it is time to move on. The official announcement is expected come the conclusion of Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet world tour in November, but it seems now that this is just the beginning of the end.

Here is Reese Witherspoon as she is enjoying a day of mama pampering in Beverly Hills where she moved from spa to lunch with effortlessness that only Reese could pull off. And as usual, America’s sweetheart is all smiles and grins. This time, it may be about the fact that she is finally an ex-wife now that her marriage with cheater cheater what’s his name has been finalized. Reese has been very public about her emotional breakdown and how devastated she was over the dissolution of her marriage, as were we all. Who would be so mean to hurt this cute girl? However, Reese’s smiles are an indication that life is getting better, and a finalized divorce is just one stop along the way. Her next stop, a move-in with longtime lover Jake Gyllenhaal. Many have reported that wedding bells are in store for this couple who have experienced longevity already that far surpasses Hollywood standards. Jake also has recently moved in to Reese’s $5.03 million dollar Los Angeles home that only fuels the rumors that they are headed to the chapel. It seems Jake is a huge help with her two cutie bambinos 8 year old Ava, and 4 year old Deacon, and friends close to Reese say the two don’t want to spend any time apart. Okay, that’s almost gag worthy, but looking at the smile on Reese face, she certainly deserves it and we hope this next step, and any following, bring her even more smiles down the road.

Here is Uma Thurman as she films scenes for her latest movie, ‘Motherhood’ in New York City. It is clear to see that Uma is you know, getting up there as she is taking on motherhood roles, but this is what Hollywood is all about, and that does not mean she is any less talented. Uma has been in the woodworks quite a bit regarding her personal life since her heated divorce with Ethan Hawke, but she may be coming out of hiding sometime soon as it is reported that she is engaged to Swiss businessman Arpad Busson. She has recently been spotted with a huge rock weighing down her left finger, a diamond that is described as so big she can’t even fit it through the sleeve of her coat. That’s a pretty big rock! She has been seeing Arpad, who she calls Arki, exclusively since last year and at the Elton John 10th White Tie and Tiara benefit in Windsor, England last night, Uma debuted her new ring. Onlookers said all the ladies were wide-eyed over the size of it but that Uma looked like she was already in wedded bliss with her Arki. Reports are that Arpad popped the question during their UK trip, and they are already planning the wedding. When they get married, it will be the ultimate blended family as Uma has two children with Ethan Hawke, and Arpad also has two children with supermodel Elle Macpherson. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Here is Cameron Diaz in her first public appearance since the highly publicized death of her father as she attends the Los Angeles premiere of ‘What Happens In Vegas’. And as usual, though she is still grieving, Cameron has nothing but beautiful smiles for the camera. As it turns out, Cameron may have a lot more to smile about in the upcoming months, as it seems that despite her sorrowful year, good things are happening in her life. Cameron has recently sparked some speculation that she has become engaged by showing off a diamond ring on her ring finger. Cameron has been dating British model (and Jennifer Aniston reject) Paul Sculfor for a little while now, and they’ve been spotted at the exclusive Los Angeles Nobu restaurant with the ring well on display. Cameron reportedly made no attempts to hide the ring, and in fact was happily showing it off, but did not confirm or deny engagement rumors. The two were all over each other, enjoying a romantic dinner with a bevy of kissing and hand holding. But is this going too fast for Cameron? The two have only been officially linked for about a month now so if she is engaged, is she perhaps just trying to fill the void of sadness? Or maybe they aren’t even engaged….though, by all reported accounts it would seem to be the case. Either way, if Cameron has something to smile about, then something must be good in the world.
