Amy Winehouse Still in Hospital

Here is Amy Winehouse not that long ago as she spoke with journalists shortly after making the headlines in the UK yet again. THAT time it was because her racist tendencies came out. Since then, Amy and her health have been making the headlines. On Monday, Amy had a fainting spell at her home and was rushed to the hospital. Initially the rush was just to be on the safe side and make sure everything was okay. It seems it’s not so much as reports are that she has yet to be discharged. Amy is still in The London Clinic since her fainting spell, and either they have not come up with anything, or aren’t saying what the deal is (let’s recall she’s a drug addict). Her dad Mitch keeps saying that he doesn’t know what is wrong, and the doctors don’t either. Right now it seems there are a number of possibilities (like she’s a drug addict). Mitch says it may have something to do with her current treatment plan (for drug addiction). Moons ago doctors had warned Amy that she would die if she didn’t get the addiction under control, however her reps are saying that’s not true. (because people don’t die from drugs??) However, crack is crack, and it’s never been reported to build strong bones and improve cardiovascular systems. And by the looks of Amy, her fainting spell could have a lot to do with her body just giving in. I am sure as she is released and recovers we will find out more. In the meantime, let’s hope this is the wakeup call she needs and she gets back on her feet really soon.
