Angelina Jolie. Yep. Still Preggers

Sounds like this could go on for a while now, and as days pass I wonder, is this a publicity stunt in itself? Seems like whenever things get quiet for Jolie something happens that make people talk. And well, in this case, nothing is happening, and we’re all talking about how nothing is happening. Ah well. Angelina has been in the maternity ward in Cannes, France since Sunday and all reports are that she is there to rest until the babies come. No word on when that is going to happen though everyone around the Pitt-Jolie clan is assuring the rest of the world that there is nothing emergent happening at this point and that her June 29th hospitalization has been on the books for a while. Doctors can’t say when the twins will arrive, which in this country suggests a natural birth, however French medical confidentiality laws are strict, and they are simply not allowed to say one way or another. In most cases twins would be born by C-Section given the bevy of complications that arise from a multiple birth. In the meantime, Angelina is living it up, occupying approximately four rooms on the maternity ward (for herself and her security detail), but only after she arrived at the hospital in the style to which she is accustomed. By helicopter. Naturally. The paps aren’t allowed to do much right now, though I am quite sure that the deals are being inked as we speak as the major media channels fight for exclusive rights to first photos. Until then, the paparazzi are forbidden to go any further than a set position across the street from the hospital. Since Tuesday, a sign has hung at the visitors desk with an unprecedented notice: ‘Journalists are forbidden to enter the premises’. There you have it folks, a hospital stay Jolie style.
