You will hear many celebrities say that one of the best perks about being a celebrity is all the free stuff you get, and when you are an A-lister, the free stuff can be pretty cool. Britney Spears is no exception and has amassed quite the collection of interesting odds and ends, a collection she is parting with for charity. Britney will be adding some of her own pieces that are unique items in themselves, but also some pieces that have been given to her along the years. The auction will be held by online auction house ‘Gotta Have It!’ and many of the proceeds will go directly to charity. 7 pieces from Britney’s closet will be included, with some of them expecting to reach anywhere from $20 K to $60K. One piece is a T-shirt that says ‘I Love You Grandma’, a note scrawled by Britney when she wore it on The New Mickey Mouse Club and also features signatures of Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera, an item expecting $20, 332 at auction. Britney is also donating her costumes from the ‘Drive Me Crazy’ and ‘Oops I Did it Again’ tours, as well as a blue and white Santa outfit she wore during a Christmas Pepsi ad in 2000. The hottest item Britney is giving up are her Marilyn Monroe jeans she wore in ‘River of No Return’ that had been gifted to her by designer Tommy Hilfiger, the jeans are expexting a starting bid of around $60 thousand dollars. Other unique items include a year long diary from Madonna in the ‘80’s (oh to be a fly), and some pieces from the Elvis Presley collection. Auction will begin July 21 and run through August 6 at the online auction house Gotta Have It! So, if you have an extra $60 grand, why not buy yourself a new pair of jeans Britney style?
