Shia LaBeouf is seen here lighting up between takes on the set of his upcoming movie ‘Eagle Eye’. And while smoking isn’t exactly the coolest thing to do anymore, Shia may need a few more in the days ahead given the pot of hot water he’s found himself in. This past Sunday, Shia was injured in a car accident and also arrested on suspicion of drunk driving that caused the accident. At 3 A.M. Sunday morning in Hollywood, Shia was involved in a collision and suffered minor injuries to his head and knee but required extensive surgery on his hand. His passenger sustained some minor injuries and so did the driver of the other vehicle. Arresting officers on the scene reported that Shia was showing ‘outward signs of intoxication’ and given that the injuries were considered minor, the charge was a misdemeanor DUI. His reps are only confirming that an accident has occurred and have said little to nothing about the involvement of alcohol in the accident. Their official word is that he is recovering from surgery and will be returning to the set of Transformers 2 within a months time. And as usual, no further comment at this time. But this is not the first time that Shia has found himself in trouble with the police in an alcohol related incident. Last November he was taken into custody because he refused to leave a grocery store, and he was believed to be drunk then as well. Maybe this is one of those situations where he will never learn. Particularly since celebrities are spending approximately 12 minutes in jail every time they get behind the wheel drunk. Time will tell.

Reese Witherspoon was spotted here at an after party following the premiere of ‘Swing Vote’ in Hollywood last week. And as usual, she is looking cool and casual, and relaxed with her life. And why shouldn’t she be, all things seem to be going well for her. We do know that Reese and her boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal are still going very strong, and he has recently moved into her $5.07 million dollar home with his dog Atticus, ad her two kids Deacon and Ava. And while there has been a lot of talk about marriage on the table, nothing official has been announced. That we know of. But somehow it’s been leaked that she and Jake want their dog to be the ring bearer at their wedding. Jake’s dog Atticus has become part of the family, as much as Jake has, and they want him to be a part of the celebration. Is this a subtle way of giving an unofficial official announcement? Or is this just Hollywood fairy tale talk as in….if we ever got married…who knows? My bet is on wedding bells. And soon!

Well it sounds like Anne Hathaway is experiencing what ex girlfriends experience when they are connected to bad, evil men. Anne has been in the public eye even more than usual these days given that her ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri has been charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering, all with some very big dollar amounts behind them. Because of her close connection to the con man, Anne’s private diaries that she wrote in during her relationship with Raffaello have been seized by the Federal Bureau Investigation as part of their investigation into the $6.08 million dollar fraud dealings he was involved with. Her diaries have been confiscated, as have many photographs of the two, along with watches, documents, an antique Bible, and a Tiffany clock. Anne has not been charged with anything, and the FBI believes she has cut all ties with Raffaello but the timing of it all is a little suspicious. The fact that she broke up with him at around precisely the same time as all this came down is raising some eyebrows, even Raffaello’s who though broken hearted believes she had something to do with his arrest. At the time of the arrest, Raffaello was in Europe working on a deal, probably a fraudulent one, and Anne kept calling him to come see her in New York. He didn’t have to come, as he knew he was being investigated, but she said she wanted to resolve their future. With so much engagement talk between the two before this, Raffaello met his beloved’s wishes and came to New York where he was arrested within a few days. So perhaps Anne does know more than we’ve been told, and if so, she may even have immunity if she was the one that orchestrated his arrest. We may never know, but hopefully she is making the best of cutting her losses early and moving on with her life as well as she can.

Sienna Miller is seen here being a little camera shy as she heads out of Radio One Studios in Central London following the promotion of her latest flick ‘The Edge of Love’. It’s funny that she would be a little camera shy when she is fully dressed, as one would think that the less clothes you have on, the less interested you would be in having your picture taken. But she just can’t seem to stay out of the camera lens every time she takes her clothes off. And what makes it worse, is that her response to that is to sue said photographer or photo agency. And it hasn’t just happened once. Last December Sienna sued a photo agency after printing pictures of her while she filmed a nude scene, and she won the court case scoring a 75K settlement. And she’s doing it again. Considering all she’s been through, common sense would dictate that perhaps she keep her clothes ON to avoid all this stress, but I guess sensibility isn’t one of her strong suits. Particularly when said recent photos were taken while she was having an affair with a married man. Yes, she is still hot and heavy with the star of Brothers and Sisters, Balthazar Getty. And she was snapped going topless while out in public with him. And of course you know the wife found out. And she’s not just snapped topless, one picture captures Getty giving her what appears to be a very thorough breast exam as well. The photos are now in print, all over the place, and Getty and his wife have subsequently separated, with a divorce presumably pending. And she’s not only suing for breach of privacy, but also for ruining Getty’s life. Uh hello, you WERE the other woman sweetheart, let’s place blame where it belongs, shall we? You know, this torrid affair would have been kept mum if she’d just kept her clothes on. But I guess that would beat the point of having an affair at all. But you know, stupid is as stupid does.

My what obvious fake eyelashes you have here, Kim! Kim was seen here just about a week ago as she was spending some last moments of freedom with her sister Khloe before Khloe was to surrender herself at the L.A. County jail for her ‘sentence’. Yes, that would be the sentence that lasted less than three hours, so the big whoop de doo of last minutes of freedom seemed a little moot, no? I mean, it can take one longer to get their hair cut and colored I think. At any rate, the Kardashian family does not seem to be doing much to make themselves better in the public eye, and are just reinforcing their D-list status with antics such as this. And it’s not just this, it seems they will do almost anything to get noticed by anyone, anywhere. Recently the Kardashian family, along with Bruce Jenner, attended the Celebrity Family Feud, where they acted as a contestant family against none other than the Deion Sanders’ family. Cute concept I have to admit, but after watching the clip, I am finding this family to perhaps be the cheesiest family on television, and yes, the fromage factor was definitely played up with these folks. I have always liked Bruce Jenner, and I think in fact that cheesy works with him, it even makes him a little more endearing and charming, but for the rest of the group? I couldn’t help but cringe. We’ve already teased you a little bit with what is about to happen when Gossip Girl returns from summer hiatus and hits your little screen again come September 1. There is no question that this season is even going to be more scandalous than ever before. And viewers will certainly be kept guessing about who is with who, who isn’t, and who is BACK with who. Who do you think? It looks like both Blair and Sabrina will be kept very busy when it comes to man hopping but it’s hard to tell which man they will be hopping with. To launch the new season, the CW is kicking off a new ad campaign that is making some waves. The campaign is a backlash to the Parents Television Council which has blasted Gossip Girl for content they considered salacious and that they said is too scandalous for younger viewers on network television. The Council used phrases such as ‘A nasty piece of work’, ‘Every parent’s nightmare’, and ‘mind blowingly inappropriate’. Well it seems the CW liked the catch phrases and are using them to entice fans and new viewers to see just how mind blowingly inappropriate the show really is. And well, I have to say, I don’t know if I would use the word inappropriate, but scandalous is definitely up there. Heather Locklear was seen here dining at The Ivy shortly before she was admitted to rehab on anxiety and depression issues. Shortly before checking in to rehab, Heather had made headlines when she looked fabulous in a bikini in Hawaii while filming scenes for her next movie ‘Flirting with 40’. And, since she’s actually 47, she was also criticized for the same bikini shots given that she stopped Flirting with 40 many moons ago. And it is this criticism that is said to play a role in her depression that landed her in rehab. She checked in to an Arizona rehab facility and underwent four weeks of treatment for both anxiety and depression, and has since checked out with all reports saying that she looks radiant and beautiful as ever. Her recovery is a work in progress though she appears rejuvenated and friends close to her say it’s nice to see her laughing and enjoying life again. Her current boyfriend, Jack Wagner, made a point to do good boyfriend duty and visited her twice in Arizona, and seems to be a factor in her overall good spirits. And now, Heather has returned to her 10 year old daughter Ava, who spent the rehab time with her dad Richie Sambora, and all seems to be well and good in Heather’s world again. Kudos to her and we’re happy to hear she’s smiling again!
