News like this is always so heartwrenching, no matter who the celebrity is, but when it is a sweetheart like Christina Applegate, it seems even more so. Here is Christina Applegate on set filming scenes from her hit TV comedy ‘Samantha Who’ and she looks like she doesn’t have a care in the world. The past year has not been a good one for Christina Applegate, as though she is usually one to keep her private life private, last year she made headlines when her 26 year old boyfriend Lee Grivas was found dead in his apartment. And just a year later, she is making headlines again with more terrible news as this 36 year old actress has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. All reports are that thanks to a doctor ordered MRI scan the cancer has been caught in its very early stages and thus is not life threatening. Christina will thus have the benefit of early detection and will be following recommended treatment of her doctors. It is completely expected that she will have a full recovery but it does sound like a long road ahead for Christina. Our hearts and prayers are with her and we wish her nothing but the best for Christina as she works towards picture perfect health.
