Ellen and Portia Make Baby Talk

It seems the sun has barely set on the intimate sunset wedding ceremony for Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi and the two are already dealing with baby rumors. Here they are seen shortly before their wedding running errands in Los Angeles and enjoying a quiet Saturday morning together at the Book Soup store on Sunset Strip. The ‘well read’ couple left the store carrying bags of magazines and books. I wonder if baby names books was on the agenda this weekend, as it sounds like both Ellen and Portia have been talking baby talk for some time now, even before the wedding. They are torn between the joys and blessings of the unconditional love that children bring, and the freedom from responsibilities that childless life brings. They think the freedom without children may seem like a selfish choice, but in my opinion, the selfish connotation only stems from the judgments of others. They want to enjoy married life a little bit longer before they make a final commitment to children, and they certainly should given how long they have waited for each other. Ellen ahs joked about having kids, shock, saying that she wants to be a mom to ‘pretty kids’ and that ‘If they would be as pretty as Brad and Angelina’s kids, we might’. Ah yes, if only we all had the gene pool that the Brangelina’s do. Overall, it’s not something they take lightly, and as everything else in Hollywood, anything can happen here. You know what happens when couples first start ‘talking’ about kids……
