Jenny Garth Denies Fist Fight with 90210 Co-Star Shannon Doherty

With summer coming to a screeching halt, the new television shows are all the talk, and with kids back in school, it’s those hold high school prime time dramas that are expected to make it big in the ratings boxes this year. And high school has just never been sexier with the Upper East siders making waves on the East Coast in ‘Gossip Girl’ and those California girls surfing wild on the West Coast in the rehash of the ‘90’s hit ‘Beverly Hills: 90210’. I wonder which will be the biggest this year, as Gossip Girl has created quite a stunning following even in its youth. While 90210 definitely has an existing fan base, a lot of those fans are well into their late 30’s and 40’s now and may not care so much about the old high school dramas. Time will tell. If Jenny Garth has anything to say about it, 90210 will be the show to beat, and she is reprising her role of Kelly Taylor in a much more mature manner. You will see Kelly return to West Beverly High as a guidance counselor, who is also a single mom to a 4 year old boy. Awww, what happened to Kelly? I am sure we will find out soon enough. And, even fourteen years later, Jennie is still having to fend off rumors about a fist fight between her and former co-star Shannon Doherty. We won’t waste too much time dishing about why Shannon got the boot from 90210, that’s definitely old news. But we will say that both parties are denying Tori Spellings claim in her tell-all that the two got down and dirty with their fists. Maybe it happened, maybe it didn’t, it was 14 years ago, who cares? We should hope that the two starlets have grown up and gotten over *whatever* happened, and Jennie is the first of the pair to take the bigger stand on the issue. That’s a good thing, since you WILL be seeing Shannon Doherty back in the halls of West Beverly as well. How? Only time will tell, but no worries, you won’t have to wait too much longer.
