Lilo Says No to the Hef

Well well well, you know what they say. When you are in a good relationship, you start to wind down your crazy days and start to get a little more serious about life. And it sounds like this may be the case for Lindsay Lohan. She is seen here appealing to her more fashionable sensitivities at the Charlotte Ronson’s spring fashion show for Fall Fashion Week in New York over the weekend, and naturally, girlfriend Samantha Ronson was not far behind her. But a public relationship is not the only statement that Lindsay is making these days, no in fact, she is making it very clear all across the board that she is not the wild child she once was….a few months ago. Lindsay’s most recent claim to this is with an emphatic ‘thanks but no thanks’ to Hu Hefner when invited to do a Playboy spread. Given that Lilo recently made headlines with a nude photo spread commemorating Marilyn Monroe in New York Magazine, the folks at Playboy thought Lilo wouldn’t even blink to give a firm nod. However, their offer of $743,000 for a nude tribute to 60’s starlet Ann Margret’s movie ‘Kitten with a Whip’ was not received all that well. Lindsay was offered a sum considered meagre by Playboy standards, I mean, I think even Denise Richards was offered a million, for this tribute that would involve a sexy eight-page spread for the 55th anniversary of Playboy. Lilo’s reps (presumably her mom??) said ‘If there’s nudity, the answer is no’. The Lilo camp does not want to ‘go down the New York Magazine road again’. Whatever that means. I think it is more than a little surprising that Lindsay turned the Hef down, I mean, her persona is well known as a sex kitten. So I am thinking this thumbs down meant one of two things. Either she wasn’t offered enough dabloons to do it, or her girlfriend made her voice very clear, no more naked girl for you! Ain’t love grand? Must be if it can tame even the likes of our Lindsay Lohan.
