Chris Daughtry To Hit the Small Screen

Now that American Idol has shot Chris Daughtry to super stardom, despite the fact that he didn’t win the actual title, he can be spotted at A-lister events such as he is here at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Hancock’ at the famous Graumans Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. And if listening to his hottest albums and hearing his rocking edgy voice are not enough to quench your taste of Chris, you will soon be able to catch him on the small screen as he makes his acting debut this year. Yes, Chris is hip and hot and wanted by many, even outside the music industry. This year, fans of Chris as well fans of CSI: NY can catch him appearing in their 100th episode. The episode is said to air in November and will also include stars such as Rumer Willis, Scott Wolf, Nelly, NFL star Marshall Faulk, and Julia Ormand (LOVE her!). As for Rumer Willis, well, she has to start somewhere if she wants to be famous for something other than Demi and Bruce’s daughter, but she still kind of scares me with her horse look. But Chris will be playing someone named Mac Taylor, and if you are wondering why that name sounds familiar, it is because this is the name of the character played by Gary Sinise. In fact, the entire episode and all of its guest stars will play roles with the name Mac Taylor, as the show will center around a serial killer who targets victims with that said name. Sounds like Mr. Sinise may have some trouble on his hands! Chris’s role is well, almost too predictable, as he will be playing ‘an attractive 30 something musician’. Oh ok, so no method acting required here, huh? Doesn’t really matter, Chris is hot and whatever role he plays on or off screen, hot. Not much more you can say about that, huh? Look for the much talked about episode in November…
