Was Heather Locklear Framed for her DUI??

Well, this is a new one. Not often someone gets FRAMED for a DUI, but it sounds like Heather Locklear may have been a target in her recent DUI arrest. Last weekend, Heather Locklear was arrested and booked on suspicion of a DUI charge with a certain local ‘resident’ calling in to 9-1-1 and reporting that Heather was driving erratically in a parking lot, and her vehicle was later found parked and blocking a lane on the state highway. She was arrested on the scene under suspicion of driving under the influence, though arresting officers do not believe that Heather was under the influence of alcohol at the time. This is Heather’s mug shot here, and you can see that she is significantly distraught and has been shedding tears. She spent Saturday night overnight at the police station, where she underwent extensive drug testing and she was released Sunday morning. Investigators are still waiting for the results of the blood tests before anything can go further as far as the charges are concerned, but in the meantime, some interesting ‘evidence’ has emerged that is suggesting that Heather may have been framed with the DUI. Despite the fact that Heather is a little under the radar career wise, she is still quite a popular subject for the media as far as the celebrity paps are concerned, and it seems that a former US Weekly editor has set her up for the DUI. This former editor, Jill Ishkanian, is also experiencing some of her own legal issues, and was recently investigated by the FBI for tapping into the database of US Weekly after she had left her job. She uses this information that she gleans from the database to come up with her own scoops on popular celebrities, and Heather is one of her targets. Jill likes to follow celebs around from information she has taken from the database and develop her own inside scoops as a freelance journalist. On the day in question, it was said that Jill tailed Heather Locklear watching her complete standard errands such as grocery shopping and the like. The ‘erratic’ driving in the parking lot, merely involves Heather accidentally backing over a pair of sunglasses that had been left in the parking lot, however it WAS Heather’s vehicle that was found to be blocking the state highway in a parked position. But it has since come to light that it was Jill Ishkanian that made the call to 9-1-1 so that Heather could be reported for a DUI, and after her call to 9-1-1, Jill’s paparazzi friends and camera crews were on scene to catch the whole thing. So no, it wasn’t a ‘concerned Santa Barbara resident’ but rather, a money hungry journalist. Mind you, Heather still has the issue of the substances in her system to contend with, and may still face charges pending the results of the bloodwork. But this all may have never happened, and probably wouldn’t have, if it were not for Miss Jill former editor of US Weekly. So yes, even though Heather may actually be guilty, it still looks as if she was framed for the whole situation.
