We have all heard the tragic story of the losses that Jennifer Hudson and her family have incurred over the last little while. Jennifer Hudson has been headlines this week after the fatal shootings of her mother, brother, and seven year old nephew. Though very little has been related about the killings or persons of interest, we do know that the homicides were more than likely caused by someone close to the family, and this was a domestic situation gone very very bad, and very tragic. And Jennifer has not been very public about it, as who could be. She is still in a very high state of shock, and is grieving the loss of multiple family members. Jennifer won’t be in the public eye for some time on this issue either, as she has now gone into hiding over the entire issue. But it is not grief that is keeping Jennifer from poking her head out, it is fear. With multiple family members victims of the killer’s shooting spree, she has gone into hiding out of fear for her life. Is it possible Jennifer was the original target? Who knows, but when many of your family members are killed by the same person, your own personal safety will definitely be a paramount concern. Us Blogger Liz Crokin writes:

I can’t disclose where Jennifer is staying - I can just tell you it’s a hotel. She has bodyguards and the hotel she’s staying at has a great security team. She only left to go to the medical examiner’s office on Sunday night.

As it stands now, the primary person of interest in the case is William Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer’s sister Julia. Domestic issues have been cited as possible motives, but we know nothing other than that. He is currently being held by the police on charges of parole violation, and is being questioned regarding the triple murder. Unfortunately, he is not cooperating and has also refused a polygraph test on the matter. The whole thing is just so sooo sad. We wish Jennifer peace during what must be a terrible, terrible time for her. Let’s hope some closure from the investigative stance will help Jennifer and her family get through this ordeal.
