Lindsay Lohan Makes a BIG Oops!

Yes, even celebrities have their human and imperfect moments, and my, don’t we simply love to relish in them. Many stars can get away with brushing most of their goofs off, but in some cases, they just can’t. Specifically, when you make a colored comment about the current President elect, well, it just doesn’t look good! And this is exactly what Lindsay Lohan did in a recent interview with Access Hollywood. It is no secret to anyone that most of Hollywood has given President Elect Barack Obama on his almost two year long campaign trail, and many say that this backing is even what won him the election. So all of Hollywood is STILL talking about this and the media is cashing in on it. And when Access Hollywood got an exclusive interview with Lindsay Lohan, they scored the motherload on her comments about President Elect Barack Obama. Not only did they get her opinion on the subject, they also got this comment:
It was really exciting. It’s an amazing feeling. It’s our first coloured president.
Seriously??? Does Lindsay still think that we live in a back of the bus kind of day and age? Hello, King opponents have called and want their term back, Lilo. My word!! And oddly enough, the little goof has been quickly swept under the rug. Her reps are refusing to comment, refusing to return messages even. And when printing her story, Access Hollywood tactfully left the comment out of the press, but made sure they posted an ‘extended interview’ video on their website. The message being, WE won’t flaunt it…but here is the slip hiding over here just in case you want to see it yourself. And when Access Hollywood was asked about the comment, they replied:
We believe the word in question that Ms. Lohan used was unintelligible.
Well, I think that in this case, there is no doubt that something lacked intelligence over the whole thing. But if you see the video on Access Hollywood, crystal clear. Way to go Lilo. Just when we almost took you seriously.
