Reflex, PacificCoastNews.com
Kate Winslet is seen here braving the cold on set to film what appears to be a beach scene in Cologne, France. And it appears that her styling of high-waisted shorts that are less than forgiving and showing off some of her curvier features. And it is just pictures like this that are leading critics to say that her recent photo shoot for Vanity Fair was less than honest. Kate Winslet is one of those Hollywood starlets that is famous for her gorgeous body. And so when she covered Vanity Fair’s December issue, she strutted her stuff and made the most of what her mama gave her. So much so that she has been criticized for doing so, and many have accused her, and Vanity Fair, for bending to the airbrush route. But Albert Wolsky of Vanity Fair who did her wardrobe design for the shoot says no, Kate and her body, were terrific to work with. Albert has worked with Kate and her co-star Leonardo DiCaprio on her upcoming movie ‘Revolutionary Road’ says that this airbrush controversy is completely unnecessary. He says she is a serious actress, and is someone that cares a lot about what she looks like. Albert stands by Kate and says that she is not someone that will try to be someone that she isn’t, that she wants to be herself and she works hard and looking good, honestly. Kate’s representatives concur this thought saying that her skin was worked on for the photoshoot, but only so that her skin tone could be evened out. So for those of you that are jealous of her gorgeous skin, know that it is computer generated. Her body on the other hand, is all Kate, and she’s darn proud of it. But this is not the only controversy on this shoot. Kate also had some issues with Vanity Fair themselves after the fact, when she found out a fur she used in the shoot was an actual fox fur, and not a fake as she had been lead to believe. With PETA being such a huge cause for most celebrities, this caused quite the stink for Kate, and she made sure Vanity Fair knew about it. VF has since apologized to Kate and there is no word as of yet of any other fallout from the situation. But this is Kate’s issue, and I am sure she will get her respite from it. In the meantime, if you love Kate and her awesome figure, check out December’s issue of Vanity Fair.
