One of this season’s hottest shows has been the revised Beverly Hills 90210 and it seems like the show had barely hit its first commercial break in the series opener before people were talking smack with the weight gossip. It is no secret that the starlets chosen for this show are a little on the skinny side, and this has sparked many rumors that the cast of the revised 90210 are fighting eating disorders.

Shenae Grimes, is the star of the revised show and she has taken the most heat, and quite frankly, she will have you know that she is sick and tired of it. And it’s not just anorexia that she is battling, she is also being called a diva on set and an all around party girl. Hmmm…..sounds like the revised 90210 is mirroring itself both on and off set as well. But she says pooh pooh to all of it and says that she can’t help what people believe about her because its up to them to decide what they want to believe. The 19 year old actress says that her move from Toronto, Canada to Los Angeles this year has mirrored her life on the show, and it was a huge culture shock.

But it wasn’t just the L.A. crowd that came as a shock to her, it was also the instant tabloid fodder on her personal life that has been the most difficult to adjust to. She says that it is very frustrating to keep being accused of having an eating disorder, and says that she works far too much to party the way she is being touted to. And as far as being a diva on set? No way, this down home Canadian girl has all the cast raving about her down home sweetness. And it is this very sweetness that makes the anorexia comments sting a little more than she expected. But this does not stop her from judging those that judge her, because at this point, she has had enough as she says on her MySpace blog:

I happened to be very small built, and ive always been skinny. So I personally think that people need to stop criticizing everyone in the media these days about their issues. Im sure you wouldnt like it if someone pointed out all of your flaws and all of your mistakes.

Well, you know what they say…from the horse’s mouth, right? I hope that she’s right, and that we aren’t going to see another Tracy Gold down the road…
