Splitsville for Jennifer Love Hewitt

And here we have the happy couple just a few short months ago when Jennifer Love Hewitt was showing off her new svelte figure at the 60th Primetime EMMY Awards at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. And Jennifer was truly enjoying the limelight at the EMMY’s, as was her doting fiancé Ross McCall. But sadly, this is another couple to see some trouble in paradise, as the couple have called an end to their relationship and broke up during the holidays. Overall, the response has been the *shock* face, with everyone saying they had no clue, as this was a couple that never seemed to let us see them sweat. But alas, of course they must have or we would not be telling this story today. The official report is simply that they broke up over the holidays and also ended their engagement, naturally. What caused the split we do not know, but yikes! Ending a two year relationship over the holidays? Whoever started that one will have some esplainin’ to do in the NEXT relationship. And both Jennifer and Ross apparently are ‘very sad’ about this, with neither of their reps being ready to give an official comment on the subject. And yet it was only October when Jennifer was glowing with the upcoming wedding. She had been harshly criticized last year for claiming to the world she was a size 2 (when at the time, she SO was NOT) and has since then whittled down her figure to what actually may be a size 2. She said the figure change was natural to her:
I’m getting ready to turn 30 and get married and all those things. This year was my year to try to glow from within and feel better.
Her year to glow, huh? Well, she is going to have to come up with another hip answer when asked about her stunning new figure. Something snappy like ‘I’m single and hitting the 30’s and want to look and feel my best!’ Ah well, let’s not be too harsh, a broken heart at the holidays? That’s just colder than Frosty cold. Let’s hope she’s started her hunk alert already…..
