Rachel Bilson and her long time love Hayden Christensen were spotted here shortly before the American Thanksgiving at LAX as they arrived to catch an Air Canada flight. And this was just one step of many that the couple have taken lately to show how serious their commitment is, as this visit was purported to be a ‘Meet the Parents’ type thing for Rachel. Hayden is a Canadian, and by the looks of it, he was bringing Rachel home to get her acquainted with his hometown. And by the sounds of it, his ploy worked, as sorry to disappoint you boys, but the oh so sexy Rachel Bilson has been snagged up for good. But we can’t say that we didn’t see this one coming. Rachel has been joined at the hip by Hayden Christensen for some time now, and the two have not been secret at all about how committed they are to each other. The two co-starred together in the 2008 flick ‘Jumper’ and it seems that it was love at first sight. And tho the reps haven’t come out of the woodwork with any official comment, the two did get engaged and it sounds like they have managed to keep it under wraps from us. The only comment Rachel’s rep could provide was ‘I do not comment on my clients personal lives’. Uh hello, isn’t that what reps are supposed to DO? Isn’t that why they ARE reps? At any rate….The magical moment happened over the holidays, and the two are blissfully in love and plan to have a long life together. No word yet on when this will take place, but Rachel being a style icon, my hunch is that this is going to be one of the bigger Hollywood affairs, and not of the ‘eloping is chic’ variety that seems to be one of Hollywoods trends right now. And since the official announcement came in the New York Post, yes, this will be big. Our congratulations go out to the happy couple!

Taylor Swift may be 19, but many are saying that she is 19 going on 16 and is living a rather sheltered life despite her pop icon status. Yes, she is quite the sex siren, a Grammy’s performer, and an ex girlfriend to a Jonas brother, but she still likes to keep it as simple as possible, as you will find out in the March issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Taylor is a contemporary Sandra Dee, she’s never smoked a cigarette or had a drop of liquor, and she still lives with her parents in the bedroom she grew up in. But she won’t talk about sex, and doesn’t want you to either when it comes to her. Taylor says she doesn’t even feel all that ‘grown up’ sometimes, and relates most to folks like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato. She also has had a few moments where she was fascinated by the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, but says now, those days are long gone. When it comes to the opportunity to rebel just because she’s a superstar, Taylor says you won’t see that happen with her.

“When you lose someone’s trust, it’s lost, and there are a lot of people out there who are counting on me right now. Rebellion is what you make of it. When you’ve been on a tour bus for two months straight, and then you get in your car and drive wherever you want, that can feel rebellious.”

But yet even though she didn’t want to talk about sex much, Rolling Stone pressed her on the issue, naturally. Will she join her Disney friends’ pledge to abstain until marriage? No comment from her, or about her love life. She acknowledges that a song on her current album is about her breakup with Joe Jonas, but says that most of the inspiration behind her music comes from her friends experiences. Well if you’ve been wondering what is going on with these two like the rest of the world, then you are in good company, because it seems NOBODY knows, not even John and Jen what they are doing exactly. They aren’t getting married, they aren’t splitting up, but they are doing something kind of in the middle there. And they are calling it an open relationship. Yes, this on again off again thing has gotten boring even for them, so ‘non exclusive but not not seeing each other’ is their new official label. It sounds like Jennifer wants to ‘keep her options open’. Which translates to me to that she knows John won’t commit, so she’ll keep him around until she finds somebody that will. She’s also got a huge bunch of things happening with her career right now, with this that and the other movie coming out, along with all of the promotions for such, and well, just being one of America’s prettiest girls. And because she has just celebrated her 40th birthday, and still one of America’s prettiest girls, keeping one’s options open doesn’t necessarily mean a bad thing. Whether you are swamped with work or not. And so her smarts aren’t letting us down as we once suspected when she decided to renew this Player Mayer thing, as she is the one calling the shots and putting her foot down on this one. There was some talk of moving in together, but Jennifer said ‘No thanks’ and told John that wouldn’t happen unless he made some kind of ‘official long term committment’. Not surprisingly, it wasn’t long after that when John piped up on his MySpace blog that he had just bought a ring for her. And by the sounds of it, the ‘idea’ of marriage for John is more appealing than the marriage actually happening, as he won’t settle down to a timeline of any sorts. So he may want to have his cake and eat it too, but this is a game that she is wising on to. And it’s about time that she did, no?

Oh yes, here we have the man who is making women angry all over the country. He has lost some fans BIG TIME with his most recent scuzzy man actions hasn’t he? And here he is, just hours before an event that has literally sent his career into the toilet. Chris Brown is seen here arriving at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards Clive Davis Party in Beverly Hills, an event that he attended with his girlfriend Rihanna, and an event that will mark the evening of the end of his career, as this was and will be the last time these two were spotted together. We all know that Chris Brown has some very serious abuse allegations against him as of last Saturday night, the night he attended the aforementioned party and allegedly beat up his girlfriend Rihanna. And one would think that a man in his position would be reacting rather embarrassed, remorseful, I don’t know, but SOMETHING. Instead, he is waiting for the day when the public turns on Rihanna, which is what he predicts is going to happen. Since Sunday, Chris has been hiding from America in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel. And while he was in there, I guess he got caught up with some Facebook time, because he has since changed his Facebook status to tell the world that we’ll ‘begin to see her true colors. Believe it!’ He also made the bold relationship step in public by changing his relationship status to ‘single’ but I guess he was in haste, as he has yet to update his ‘looking for’ to ‘prison daddy’. Since his Facebook time in Vegas, he has been spotted leaving the Hard Rock, and spending some time with his mom. Rihanna has been sticking around Los Angeles with the support of her friends and her assistant Melissa Forde. It has been reported that Chris and Rihanna were advised to stick around the L.A. area for the investigation of their case. And one little detail about their investigation is the history of their relationship, because surprise, surprise, this may not have been the first incident. In November, Rihanna was spotted wearing a diamond encrusted eye patch at the American Music Awards, and at the time, she chalked it up to a scratched cornea. However, the Sun of London stated that she didn’t take the patch off, and so Police are investigating the cause of that injury as well. This would have probably been the result of something that Rihanna hinted at herself, because that is not something that would get ‘pulled out of a hat’ by investigators, ESPECIALLY when celebrities are concerned. But friends as well are now starting to speak loudly to help their friend Rihanna.

Also getting steadily worse: the chances that Chris Brown’s nice guy image was grounded in reality. I mean, “her true colors”? This is a woman who’s got matching forehead contusions. If she files charges, I don’t think there’s much the world can find out about her that will stop us from giving her a standing ovation every time she walks by.
