Awww. This is kind of sad actually. I’ve been so proud of her since her comeback, and we all know how the love between Brit and K-Fed may be volatile, but it is real as these two genuinely care for each other. And now, Britney Spears is reportedly devastated after discovering her ex-husband Kevin Federline has proposed to his girlfriend Victoria Prince. So much so she even feels betrayed by him. The singer is reportedly furious with her ex-husband – with who she has two children, Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two – after he proposed to current girlfriend Victoria Prince because she still has feelings for him. Apparently he knew this, but you know nobody will ever really know for sure. During Britney’s comeback there has been talk of course that a comeback was pending, but nobody really ever banked on it. But the kernel was planted, there is some serious history between these two, and it has been said that Britney always hoped they would get back together. And then we have the added knife to the gut. Britney – who divorced Kevin in 2007 – is said to be particularly concerned with the amount of time Victoria will be spending with her sons. A friend of hers has said:

“Britney’s not keen on Victoria. Victoria gets on really well with Sean and Jayden and sees more of them than Britney because they live with Kevin. I don’t think Britney saw her as a threat until Kevin proposed but now she will be stepmother to Britney’s kids and that doesn’t make her happy.”

I gotta say I feel bad for the girl. Even if she had moved on herself, it is still a little heartbreaking to see someone do it before you do. Group hug, Brit.

There are some days that women in America rejoice when they hear of the latest breakup, and there are some that just make us sad. The day when George Clooney and Sarah Larson finally admitted nothing was going to happen there was one of the good ones. Then we have today, with Mel Gibson going public about his really bad marriage. So bad that his wife of 28 years has filed for divorce. It’s tragic really, nearly three decades is a very, VERY long time, and they’ve got seven kids to speak for it. So sad. The only thing we know is that the couple is citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the big split and that there are no prenuptial agreements. This is not too shocking actually, considering almost 30 years ago Mel had pretty much nothing, and prenups just weren’t *done*, not even in Hollywood. So under California law, what they’ve got will probably be split 50/50 which sounds like it will ring to the tune of approximately 50% of Mel’s current fortune which is estimated at around $900 million. Mel’s wife Robyn has been quite the pillar for him, giving him 7 children and standing by him when the public got ugly with him during his 2006 DUI arrest. All of their children but 1 are adults now, so she is also seeking sole custody of their 10 year old Tom, as well as spousal support and attorney’s fees. Their actual date of separation is yet to be determined, which shows she’s getting a little money hungry here, since earnings from the marital property will stop being marital property once the separation date is listed. So she’s holding out a bit it sounds like it, though when you have half of $900 million to play with, one has to wonder why. She’s also managed to grab fierce and feisty divorce attorney Laura Wasser who also represented Britney Spears in the split with K-Fed. And though irreconcilable differences is the official and public reasoning given, there is some talk that he was photographed with a woman who didn’t seem to be Robyn in Costa Rica at the beginning of March. Though my hunch is that a 28 year old marriage doesn’t end overnight, and like Madonna and Guy, theirs was probably over before that even happened. Either way you cut it, as cute as it is that Mel is back on the market, it’s very sad to hear of any marriage like this end for any reason. In the meantime, expect some mudslinging and money gouging, this one doesn’t sound like it is going to end quietly.

Lindsay Lohan is seen here stocking up on Coke and other junk food supplies as she leaves her Los Angeles home. And though she is usually ready to smile for the cameras, she is very busy now nursing a broken heart, so it may be a while before you see her sweet grin again. From the sounds of it, Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson have broken up for good, and Lindsay has been pretty public about it. When asked by the media how it was going since the breakup, all Lindsay could manage was “it’s absolute hell”. But you can’t help but wonder at this point if this breakup will stick, because by all counts and purposes, the pair have broken up about five times since December alone. Their relationship has been anything but happy, with many rocky fights, nasty nights, and all kinds of turmoil and dish breaking. And yet they just keep coming back to each other. It is possible that these two simply aren’t destined to be together, or they as a couple can’t handle the tremendous amount of heat they are taking in the spotlight with their celebrity status. Or, because they break up so many times and keep finding their way back, maybe they ARE destined to be together, how does one really know? Friends of theirs say their relationship changes every five seconds, but Lindsay seems to be a little more torn up about this breakup than any of the others, so perhaps this one really is the Big Breakup after all. A friend of Lindsay on the breakup has said the spotlight DOES have something to do with it:

“She’s in pain and she’s alone and feels like the world is against her. She doesn’t live an easy life. She has always been in the spotlight. She doesn’t know how to live without it but it would be nice if she did for a little.”

And of course you have to know if we are talking about Lindsay and Sam, her dad Michael Lohan will pipe up to the media and get his two cents in. He says she is coping with the breakup by spending time with her mom and sister. And we all know just how torn up inside this “good Christian” is about the situation. Lindsay says the breakup is all about her needing some time and some space to herself, so as sad as she is about the situation, she is the one that called the end this time. But just about anyone that knows either one of these two has flat out said that well, space is the best thing for both of them at this point. Once again, only time will tell what will happen here.

Hollywood’s latest lovebirds Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen are seen here getting all schmoopsy poo as they kiss kiss before catching a flight at LAX the other day. Perhaps they are going on their honeymoon for some much needed R and R as the two had quite the shocker at their wedding last weekend, giving the literal sense to a shotgun wedding. Gisele may be the target of Tommy’s affection, but it was the paparazzi that was the target of his fury during their own wedding. Sounds like the paparazzi got a little heated and excited at two of the prettiest people in the world uniting themselves together, and it turns out that their own bodyguards had to actually open fire at their wedding. The wedding took place in Costa Rica, and shots run out blasting open the window’s of one of the photographer’s SUV and just barely missed the photo happy man that was sitting inside. There were actually two photographers inside the SUV, and this occurred shortly after the photographers tried to wiggle in closer to the wedding scene, and ended up having a huge fight with some of Tom’s buddies. The male version of a cat fight ensued, but this time there were some bullets ringing out, with the bullets smashing the SUV window, and flying just in between the heads of the shaken photographers. One of the photographers mentioned that the bullet went in between them just missing their heads, and had it moved even an inch to the left or right it would have killed one of them. As soon as the glass broke and the media reps were sure they were both all right, they sped away in the SUV. Both photographers had permission to be there, and had been hired by the INF photo agency, with permission granted from Gisele’s neighbor in Costa Rica. The permission however did have some limitations on it, and the paps weren’t allowed to get any closer than 300 feet away from the wedding happenings. But they figured once they got there, they could wiggle a little more room out of the happy couple. But it’s a funny story, as if you ask Tom Brady’s agent anything about the incident, he says he has no knowledge of any of the events discussed and has “no other comment” to the effect. This was not the first wedding for this handsome couple, but the first public performance of them declaring their love for each other. The pair got secretly married in February in Los Angeles County, and were using the Costa Rica event as a means of renewing their vows. And, just as they were about to do so, the bodyguards to the couple spotted the offending media gang, and chased them. The photographers raced back to their SUV and hid inside. The bodyguard tried to talk to them saying something like “Tom just wants to talk to you, that’s all” and when the photographers accepted this invitation, they were swarmed by three members of the wedding party and five burly bodyguards all dressed in black. The film for their pictures was demanded by the bodyguards, and the photographers lied saying they hadn’t had a chance to even get a shot. And well, I guess open gunfire was the response to shooting. If you hear the photographers side of the story, they will say they can’t believe they almost died for some wedding shots. And while, not that I am saying they deserved it, but you know, if they had just followed their instructions, none of this would have happened at all. But that is the price you take when you are a money hungry photographer I suppose.

The always glamorous Kate Hudson is seen here in an absolutely gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown as she attends the world premiere of the comedy “Bride Wars” in New York City this year. This is one girl that has managed both a very sexy girl next door look on her most casual days, and an oh so glamorous red carpet look on any given moment. What is it about this girl? Besides her infectious and naturally beautiful smile, and her down to the bone sweetness, it is difficult to say, but you may want to ask Owen Wilson what makes this girl so spectacular. Yes, this is one man that probably knows this girl better than anybody, as he has been in and out of her life for many years now. Kate and Owen have a notorious relationship that is on again and off again and has been for so many times that we question if even they knew what they were doing. And there are couples that seemed destined to make the same mistakes over and over again and keep coming back to each other, and then there are couples that just seem destined period. And my thoughts are that this is one of those star crossed situations. Have you ever seen the two of them together? They glow in a way that only the truly star crossed can. And now it seems they have finally decided to give up the charade and get married. It’s kind of strange actually given that Kate barely thought five minutes before she married whats his name (*cough* Chris Robinson) and had little Ryder, so we are thinking that with Owen, Kate has given this some serious consideration. Though both have been with other people during their off again moments, they have finally made their way back to each other, and we hope this time it is for good. And they seem to think it is. This time they decided to be a little quieter about it so that the media wouldn’t interfere in their relationship, and snuck away in February for a little romantic holiday in France. And you have to know that if France isn’t going to make two people fall in love for good, then nothing will. Well it seems the French magic worked for this pair, as during their vacation they decided to make things permanent and have announced that they will be getting married in a quiet ceremony this summer. I find it hard to believe that Kate Hudson will do anything quietly, but even that note makes one believe that this is more about the marriage, and less about the wedding here. They haven’t even worried too much about flashy engagement rings or a big hoopla at all. And since both of them certainly have the means at their disposal to get as flashy as they want, they just simply can’t be bothered. All they care about is never being apart from each other again. Awwww….collective group hug. Where the quiet ceremony will take place remains to be seen, but speculations at this point offer two options. They may get married at Kate’s mom’s house, Goldie Hawn, in her little home in Aspen, or they may also get married in Hawaii which is where Owen’s fabulous abode is. And as for wedding dresses, with friends in her Rolodex along the lines of Stella McCartney and Christian Dior it is possible to say that anything goes here. Kate did spend some time in the Dior house while they were in France, and is said to be looking for something ‘simple and flowing’ so anything is likely at this point. I have to say that I hope this story is not one to be filed in the rumor mill, and I have ALWAYS felt that these two were meant to be. Ever since Owen’s tragic suicide attempt, one that reportedly happened over one of his breakups with Kate, I have always felt that these two truly were meant to be together. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for these two as we wish them all the best for a beautiful life together.

One thing you gotta love the Brits for is their unfailing honesty, and Kelly Osbourne is absolutely no exception. She has been under the spotlight pretty much all her life, and it is no secret that the past few years have been a little troublesome for her. The past year Kelly has been in rehab for her addiction to painkillers, and after spending some time in an Oregon treatment facility, she came out with a new lease on life, and a sense of humility that will aid in her recovery. Now, Kelly has decided to speak out on her addictions, and the behaviours that surrounded it and it is quite possible that going public with her life challenges will help someone else along the way. One thing Kelly has come public with is the extents she would go to in order to sustain her addiction to narcotic painkillers. She says that she has actually lost count of the number of times that she would deliberately hurt herself in order to get her hands on some pills. Last year, Kelly moved from London to Los Angeles, and says that she became such a zombie that she ‘couldn’t see tomorrow’. She would use whatever she could to sleep through the day and would add pot smoking to her narcotic painkiller high. She was so out of it, that her closest relationship was with the pizza delivery man. And, yes, she is embarrassed about it which is why she is telling the world about it. And her stint in Oregon has not been her only, as she has two rehab trips prior to this that can substantiate her drug use, but she does think that Oregon will be her last. She is at a point now where she acknowledges that drugs may ruin her life, or even kill her, and getting clean is a huge priority for her now. Perhaps her only priority. When she entered Oregon, she said:

I knew if I didn’t go into rehab I would die. I thought, ‘Thank God someone’s going to take this pain away’. I can’t honestly say I’ve ever been clean. I’m getting a second chance and I want to be present for it. I just want to be happy and anything is better than the way it was.

Kudos to Kelly for taking a stand for HERSELF, and for also spreading the message to the world that others should follow suit. Going public is extremely brave, whether you are a celebrity or not, so this girl gets props for using her challenges to help others. Our hopes are that she continues well on her road to recovery.
