Jessica Simpson Loses Another Man
For those of you that care what is going on in the life of Jessica Simpson, there is not much new to report. As you can see here, she hasn’t fussed too much about her weight issues, which is fine, but when you HAVE weight issues, one of the first rules of thumbs in fashion is to stay away from the Daisy Duke style ensembles. Yes, Jessica definitely had her days of glory when donning a pair of Daisy Dukes would leave men all over the world panting, but in these days, one can only wonder the reaction that her and her Daisy Dukes inspire today. This time, men more than likely aren’t exactly panting after her, but perhaps wincing at the sight of Jessica hitting the stage in her Daisy Duke wear.
The really sad thing is that she thought she looked good, while performing for fans at Sea World she was seen strutting the stage and working the crowd. And while there are many opportunities for slams on her looking like this….and performing at Sea World…we will just leave those to your imagination today. And it seems that it is not just all of America that is a little tired of her, but also her own friends.
We have heard some rumors that Jessica is so man-desperate that she decided to hook up with her long time hairdresser Ken Paves. Seemed he was the only man that would look at her twice, and this may only be because she was paying him to do just that, look at her long enough to style her hair. And so she took this relationship a little further in order to keep her hair looking beautiful for the odd cover shoot. But it sounds like a little rift has cropped up between the two, and that there may have even been some cheating on Jessica’s part, and not so well timed when it comes to Vanity Fair. She’s recently appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair, but the word is that *gasp* Ken was not the man that styled her hair for this shoot.
One can’t help but wonder at this point, what happened to Jessica’s hair-extension business partner so we could all stop wondering (it was just me, wasn’t it?). For Jessica’s photo shoot with Mario Testino, he brought his own team, and so Jessica was styled by one-named-wonder Oribe, a Miami-based hair guy who’s worked on every magazine with every model, including AlphaModel Cindy Crawford. While a magazine that pretends to follow high society has no problem putting Proactiv spokesmodel Jessica Simpson on their cover, Vanity Fair thinks they’re too good for Ken, whose client roster includes Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez. Jessica was supposed to be in Vanity Fair in 2006, but they wouldn’t let her use Ken for her hair, so she passed. But it sounds like it wasn’t Jessica’s decision to “cheat” on her hair stylist.
Vanity Fair says that most fashion photographers use their own people–and they certainly don’t use Ken Paves, who is considered ‘tacky and amateurish for high-fashion shoots’ some absolute beam of sunshine told the New York Post at the time. I think the term “Texas pageant hair” was even used which should be of no surprise considering we ARE dealing with Jessica Simpson who has sadly turned into a Texas pageant herself with very little class to back it up. What is to become of Ken Paves and his relationship with Jessica Simpson? And will her hair suffer in the process? Who knows…or cares.
