The Tony/Jessica Era Has Finally Come to An End
Ah yes, we have seen this one coming for some time, and yet still we remain shocked over the whole thing. Why should we be shocked that yet another man got tired of Jessica Simpson? Who knows. She has been on much more than a downhill spiral since her split with former hubby Nick Lachey, and we have seen her Daisy Duke appearance crumble before our eyes. Her style icon status has whittled down to a screeching halt, while her waistline seems to be moving in the opposite direction. And the hair? Let’s not even get started. But here she is seen in a god awful mini dress that is too small for her, and a handbag that is not big enough to hide her flaws. This shot was taken after a lovely night out with her now former boyfriend Tony Romo. And what is the story behind the former BF debacle? Sounds like he just had enough, as he is the one that did the walking in this situation. And on the night before her 29th birthday no less. Cold? Well, he had to have had a reason one must assume. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback fueled breakup rumors when he showed up with about 14 friends at the Hollywood hotspot MyHouse last Friday night without the birthday girl. During the night several pretty thangs much smaller than Ms Simpson were stopping by his dance floor table. He had some fun with his boys all the while sipping some Grey Goose and, more than likely, contemplating his breakup speech. Could this have anything to do with her sudden impromptu switches to her birthday theme? Seems that Jessica had planned to throw a Barbie and Ken-themed party for her birthday, but it fell through, according to a message she wrote on her Twitter page Saturday.
“Barbie party didn’t happen, but I turned 29 and feel like I am on top of the world yelling I LOVE GETTING OLDER!” she tweeted.
Yeah. Right. Because we all know exactly why she would plan a Barbie and Ken party, and one can’t have that when Ken has dropped the axe, can we? When did she think she was Barbie, anyway? At any rate, though the split is public knowledge, the reps as per usual are keeping mum. But Tony is not being so subtle, as while she was crying if she wanted to at her own b-day bash, Tony was speaking to the press. That same Saturday, he spoke to a group of well-heeled sports memorabilia collectors at the Los Angeles Sports Museum of Los Angeles. He “blushed” when a woman asked about his relationship with Jessica Simpson, according to the L.A. Daily News. Although Simpson’s heart might be broken, she seems to remain hopeful about love. The next Sunday, she kept her Tweeter addiction alive by saying, “Everyone needs to know that hope floats … grab the strings and pull it back to you.” Three hours later, she wrote, “Falling asleep with my mom and the dogs. Please lord give all of my beautiful fans, friends, enemies, and family rest. Bring all of us peace.” Question . Who does Jessica think actually cares that she is sleeping with her dogs?
