And here we have one of the world’s most beautiful people hanging out in Sydney, Australia on a holiday with her family. And no, you can’t hate her because she’s beautiful because she’s also one of the most darling sweethearts. And she is making quite a name for herself, not that she needs to, but shedding light on an issue in the fashion world that has always kept us talking – eating disorders. Elle McPherson is joining the ranks of other supermodels, like Tyra Banks, to step up and say no, being too thin isn’t cool, and it isn’t even really being accepted in the industry anymore. She says anorexia gets too much play, and Elle is gonna let you in on the secret to being a successful model: not looking like you’re on the verge of death. Despite the stereotype that supermodels are also superskinny, Elle argues that women who look healthy are going to get more work than women with a Corpse Bride pallor.

“In my era–and I believe it is still true in this era–the girls that were incredibly successful were healthy. It was really simple: you were beautiful and healthy. Look at Claudia Schiffer, look at Christie Turlington, look at Cindy Crawford: after 20 years in the industry, they haven’t destroyed themselves. They’ve maintained the way they look and they are very beautiful women because they’ve looked after themselves.”

You just can’t argue that one, can you? She thinks models and celebrities are quick to receive arm-chair eating disorder diagnoses from scandal-seeking media types. “I think a lot of stereotypical phrases are batted about in the press that are irresponsible and uneducated,” she says. Gotta say, as much as I love the weight drama or the scary skinny dish on occasion, I agree with Elle. Like was it really necessary to call Angelina Jolie anorexic as she was raising four little kids and grieving her late mom? But then making it a big deal that Nicole Richie’s dramatic weight loss was not hot made a healthy statement, whether she was officially diagnosed with an eating disorder or not. Either way, I think Elle’s sentiments are lovely, albeit possibly clouded by her desire to sell the new plus-sized range of Elle Macpherson Intimates. It doesn’t move G-sized bras to say the fashion industry celebrates women who live on Starbucks and Benson & Hedges. It’s the message that counts tho, right?

Reggie Bush was spotted here dining solo at the sleek Los Angeles restaurant, Nobu. And though we know full well of his relationship with Kim Kardashian, seeing him solo is hardly anything new with their hot long distance relationship taking a spotlight on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”. But one thing we have learned of this romance during the airing of this show, is that this romance is not always love and glory and fame, as the distance, and the work schedules of two very famous people, have made this relationship a crash course. Literally, as it seems this couple has driven into a wall. The two have ended their two year relationship because of distance, with Kim working so much in L.A. and well, all over the world, and Reggie being located in New Orleans, while he works for the Saints. And it was this distance, and the chronic time apart, that led these two asunder says “The Source”.

“They never get to see each other, ever. It’s been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it’s tough.” They were the cutest couple. They loved each other so much but they hardly saw each other. He starts his football training camp this week and she starts shooting the new series of her program this week. They just need a break right now.”

This is one of those situations where if you DO watch the reality show of Kim’s, this will come as no surprise, as the show has been focusing on the love lives of all of the Kardashian girls this year, and ALL of them seem to be going through breakup after breakup. Kim’s will mark the third this season, so if they say bad things happen in 3’s, let’s hope the Kardashian girls get a little break from heart break. They’re not my fave socialites, but I was really hoping Kim and Reggie would be able to make this stick no matter what. Whether this source is fictional or no, I too could see how much they loved each other and also thought they were really cute. Okay, in a nauseating way…but still.
