Angelina Jolie and her hubby Brad Pitt are seen clinging to each other for dear life as they are rushed through a throng of paparazzi when they are leaving the elite Claridge’s Hotel in London the other day. The happy couple were on their way to a special viewing of Angelina’s film ‘The Changeling’. You gotta wonder, how many times these souls have to watch their own movies over and over again, as this must be the umpteenth public viewing of the film that Angelina has attended.

At any rate, the couple look picture perfect as usual, almost too much so, as they even have a mannequin like appearance to me, and Angelina is dressed in her post-baby signature black attire. It could be that she just hasn’t lost the weight from the twins pregnancy and is using black to slim her out, or it could be true that she is trying to appear thinner as she prepares for another long haul of pregnancy. It seems that ever since Angelina has come public following the birth of her twins she has been following one pregnancy rumor after the other. And every time the rumor comes out, it’s just that. Until now that is. We are hearing news that the pregnancy rumor at this point has reached the ‘confirmed’ status.

Jennifer Aniston is seen here filming scenes for her guest spot on 30 Rock, and in this scene, Jennifer is getting a little critical with the police about the fact that she has been caught stalking. And yes, we can see proof positive here that Jennifer can get lively and feisty when she wants to. And it sounds like America’s Sweetheart has just about had it when it comes to the collateral damage she suffered when her marriage to Brad Pitt ended. Yes, it is no secret to the world that Jennifer’s husband was a big fat cheater, and met Angelina on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, while he was still married to Jennifer. Jennifer Aniston is one of our most elusive stars in Tinseltown, and she has earned quite the reputation for smiling through the storms and saying very little about what everybody else is talking about. But it sounds like as far as the ‘Other Woman’ is concerned, Jennifer has had enough with all of the talk and has come out publicly to criticize Angelina for her husband stealing ways. In an interview for the December issue of ‘Vogue’ Jennifer gets up close and personal with her thoughts on Angelina. For starters, Jennifer says that Angelina has a lot to learn when it comes to discretion and being discreet. We may think that Angelina did a pretty bang up job of being discreet since the extra marital affair with Brad was hidden for quite some time. Specifically she refers to the fact that Angelina spoke out publicly about the relationship during the time of the affair, and since this was all happening unbeknownst to Jennifer, Jennifer gives a breezy ‘not cool’ comment to that.

“There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening,” Aniston says of comments Jolie had made to the same magazine a year earlier. “I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. … That stuff about how she couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.”

So, once again Jennifer comes off as the lady with class and grace. In a situation where the claws could come out and the women could get ugly, she practically shrugs it off. A lesson learned for all of us, because we ALL know who ended up looking like the better party at the end of the day. As far as her current romance is concerned? Jennifer is, as per usual, quite mum about the topic. She says she has matured since they have been together, and she is quick to dispel any rumors that she is clingy or needed. ‘Completely off base’ she quips. She doesn’t consider herself to be lonely, OR unlucky in love as are the screams of all of the latest headlines. And why should she? She’s Jennifer Aniston. She literally CAN have any man she wants.

Here is the mother of the year appearing for her first public appearance since the birth of her twins. Angelina is in New York City for the premiere of her movie ‘The Changling’ and is sporting a svelte new mommy figure and some new tattoos to mark the birth co-ordinates of the latest additions to the Pittlet family. Isn’t she so loving and giving? Ah yes, the mother of the year. United Nations Ambassador and global charitable heart. Let’s hope she and Brad don’t split up anytime soon, because if it ever came to a custody battle, Angelina has made some strikes against her, and gone about it in an oddly rather public way. As it turns out, Angelina Jolie recently gave a gift to her seven year old son Maddox that raised some eyebrows. The gift? Oh, it was a knife. Why? She felt he was ready for it. Ooooooohhhh KAY. What child is READY for a knife? What ADULT is ready to play with knives? Good heavens! But rest assured, she has a quickie explanation for all of it. She wants him to learn how to defend himself, and understand the responsibilities that come with carrying a weapon. Yep. Second graders have a whole unit on weapon safety and gun control in social studies class. It’s sandwiched in between the lesson where they learn how to tell time, and counting bugs in a jar in science class. But no really, she has a point. She says:

My mom took me to buy my first daggers when I was 11 or 12. And I have already bought Maddox some things. We take him to a special shop. We also talk about samurais and the idea about defending someone as good. We talk about everything.

I guess Maddox must be ‘Gifted’ then, since he’s only 7, and Angelina herself wasn’t allowed to play with daggers until she was the mature age of 11. But this all came up in her recent interview with W magazine, you know the one where this glowing mother of 6 splashed the cover with her doting breastfeeding shots? Yeah, what you don’t see on the cover is a picture of the knife she bought for Maddox. I wonder why, probably because the SANE people wouldn’t buy a magazine that endorsed child weaponry! But she said to W, ‘I just looked at him….loved him…and felt open to it…’ She chalked it all up to way back when she was a teenager and indulged in some self-harm through cutting measures. She found, like many do that engage in this behaviour, that it gave her some kind of a release, numbing from the pain, and to HER it was therapeutic. Yes, to her it was. To crazy people it IS. Mental note to self. Find out what school sweet little knife wielding Maddox is attending and NEVER EVER send my child there.

And one of the issues that has had everyone talking is the fact that Angelina has shockingly looked so svelte and slim post a twins pregnancy. Angelina is seen here at said first public appearance, when she appeared for the world premiere of her work with Clint Eastwood ‘The Changeling’. And yes, she IS looking quite slim, isn’t she? Though she won’t hit the scary skinny list any time soon, she still looks amazingly thin considering she went through a multiple pregnancy. The rumor is that this immaculate post baby figure is the result of a tummy tuck that she had after the twins were born, and that recovery from this surgery is yet another reason why she hasn’t really been in the public eye for months. She has said time and again that she lost all of the weight as the result of breastfeeding, which is normal, but not this fast. And we certainly would not in the light of day here ANY starlet say then went under the knife to diminish pregnancy weight. But a friend close to hers says that yes, while she doesn’t like to admit it out loud, she did get a tummy tuck, and even refers to it as the ‘mommy tuck’ preferring that term over tummy tuck. So, well, while it certainly wouldn’t be the MOST surprising thing in the world, it may make a few folks feel not so hideous as they discover that even the beautiful people have to resort to drastic measures to ensure they stay in the fold of…the beautiful people.
