Seems Mary Kate Olsen and her twin sister Ashley Olsen are ‘every man’s fantasy’ according to 81 year old Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner. He’s after them to do a Playboy shoot, and this isn’t the first time he’s asked. He started badgering the girls shortly after they turned 18, which for Hef, my guess would mean, probably 5 minutes AFTER they turned 18, and they turned him down. And, just like a man, he can’t handle the rejection, he’s going after them again. He wants them to appear in a special June edition that will mark their 22nd birthday. Maybe the girls will go for it, I mean, not every girl gets an entire Playboy issue dedicated to their birthday, but they probably won’t. The girls are all about the high fashion thing and would rather appear in bigger mags like Vogue. And since, high fashion is all ABOUT clothing, and Playboy, well, isn’t, my guess would be that they will steer clear of the Hefmobile.

Reports are now out that Ashley Olsen has new arm candy, or at least, new make out in public candy. She’s recently been spotted with ‘Brothers & Sisters’ star Dave Annable at Teddy’s Nightclub in Hollywood. Sources say they were all over each other, and I think *gag* the term ‘couldn’t get enough’ was used. Hand holding, cuddling, and kissing yada yada. Dave Annable has recently split with his girlfriend, and he has also in the past been linked with his Brothers and Sisters co-star Sally Field. So, seems like he can’t really make up his mind on a ‘type’ as this man certainly does not discriminate for age. But hey, he’s yummy and can clearly have anyone he wants. And I think he’s taking full advantage of that.

Wow, I’m so not a lawyer, but isn’t this emm… slander? I think it is a little mean to call Mary-Kate and Ashley “trashy fur hags”? OK, I have to warn you all… the video “Full House of Horrors” is long and painful to watch. OMG…! The drawings are clever, and so’s their nick names, but it is a little over-kill if you ask me. I mean you can buy t-shirts with the Trollsens on them!? This is BIG business.

Their (and by their I mean Peta’s) MySpace “About Me” reads:

Hi, we’re Hairy Kate and Trashley Trollsen, and like most trolls, we live under a bridge and wait for furry animals to walk by so we can skin them and wear them as hats. Because we’re celebrities, we don’t have to live by the same rules that ugly people like you do, and if we want to wrap ourselves up in someone else’s skin, or drape our bodies in the rotting remains of someone’s family, we totally can! And boy, do we ever.

Alright, maybe wearing fur isn’t ethically the best thing to do, but honestly… wearing a pair of leather boots is just as bad. It’s the skin the fur’s attached to… and I’m soo sure that Alicia Silverstone and Eva Mendes have in the past. Oh, and I love the Olsen’s new line Row! No, I don’t, but I had to throw that in. You know, the closer it gets to Christmas, the more and more you are going to be seeing the celebrities jumping on the charity and giving bandwagon. John Mayer is absolutely no exception and here he is attending the benefit for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research at the Sheraton Hotel last Saturday night in New York City. The benefit was called ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s’. John Mayer also attended the benefit with retired American professional road racing cyclist Lance Armstrong which is great to see. But funny thing, if this is the time of year when all the celebs come out for charity, where is Lance’s arm candy, Ashley Olsen? She seems to be the critical element missing here, but perhaps she is off fighting her own causes. Or, maybe she saw the photos @ hot spot Marquee with Kim Strother. How fickle love is in Hollywood!

Calvin Klein is expanding his endeavours beyond fashion, sort of, with the opening of the New Museum on the Bowery in New York City. With this opening came a crowd of models and fashionistas alike, including none other than the always stylish Ashley Olsen. Ashley Olsen was quite the presence in a rock star themed ensemble that included a leather bomber and mini skirt. This edgy look was perfect for an evening that involved the exhibition of cutting edge art and work sponsored by Calvin Klein. Other celebs in attendance were Julianne Moore, Ali Larter, and of course, Lance Armstrong.

It seems that no matter how hard they try otherwise, the Olsen girls are still living symmetrical lives. This time it is in matters of the heart as both girls are reported to be linked to big time athletes. Ashley Olsen has been seen just about everywhere with sexy cyclist Lance Armstrong and Mary Kate is dating New York Rangers left-winger Sean Avery. One thing Mary Kate has that Ashley doesn’t is a cheater on her hands as reported by the New York Post:

Spies said New York Ranger Sean Avery, who was introduced to Mary Kate by a mutual pal, Bungalow 8 owner Amy Sacco, has a straying eye and, behind Mary-Kate’s back, has been seeing his ex-flame, Lake Bell, as well. Avery is not known for his gentlemanly ways; after his split from Elisha Cuthbert, he went around telling everyone he dumped the actress, not the other way around.

Wait a second, is it just me or was Mary Kate not engaged like, five minutes ago?? Whatever the case is, she seems to have a rep for choosing the wrong men. It’s one thing to be connected to a sexy athlete, and athletes seem to be the arm candy of choice in Hollywood today. However, I am sure this is not the first Mary Kate has heard of her cheating friend. Let’s hope she handles this in the ‘kicking to the curb’ manner that she should.
