Calvin Klein is expanding his endeavours beyond fashion, sort of, with the opening of the New Museum on the Bowery in New York City. With this opening came a crowd of models and fashionistas alike, including none other than the always stylish Ashley Olsen. Ashley Olsen was quite the presence in a rock star themed ensemble that included a leather bomber and mini skirt. This edgy look was perfect for an evening that involved the exhibition of cutting edge art and work sponsored by Calvin Klein. Other celebs in attendance were Julianne Moore, Ali Larter, and of course, Lance Armstrong.

It seems that no matter how hard they try otherwise, the Olsen girls are still living symmetrical lives. This time it is in matters of the heart as both girls are reported to be linked to big time athletes. Ashley Olsen has been seen just about everywhere with sexy cyclist Lance Armstrong and Mary Kate is dating New York Rangers left-winger Sean Avery. One thing Mary Kate has that Ashley doesn’t is a cheater on her hands as reported by the New York Post:

Spies said New York Ranger Sean Avery, who was introduced to Mary Kate by a mutual pal, Bungalow 8 owner Amy Sacco, has a straying eye and, behind Mary-Kate’s back, has been seeing his ex-flame, Lake Bell, as well. Avery is not known for his gentlemanly ways; after his split from Elisha Cuthbert, he went around telling everyone he dumped the actress, not the other way around.

Wait a second, is it just me or was Mary Kate not engaged like, five minutes ago?? Whatever the case is, she seems to have a rep for choosing the wrong men. It’s one thing to be connected to a sexy athlete, and athletes seem to be the arm candy of choice in Hollywood today. However, I am sure this is not the first Mary Kate has heard of her cheating friend. Let’s hope she handles this in the ‘kicking to the curb’ manner that she should.

Well, as sisters do, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are said to be experiencing a lot of tension between them as of late. Ashley is a little concerned that Mary Kate’s boyfriend Max is a touch on the controlling side. That Mary Kate has already accepted a promise ring from young Max is even more disconcerting. Mary Kate is brushing off his temper tantrums and insults saying it will blow over, he does this all the time. Not surprising that a girl recovering from the problems that she’s had would get involved with someone super controlling. But, you know how it is in Hollywood. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a big splashy divorce with a huge settlement. She’ll be fine.
