No, Avril Lavigne isn’t pregnant. Are we shocked? Thanks to the big mouth of radio host Zack Taylor, there were in fact some knocked up rumors knocking around that the rock artist was in the family way. The story was given to him by some ‘insider’ and other reports indicated that her hubby Deryck Whibley was telling the world that she was about 6 weeks along. Avril’s record label has vehemently denied the rumors saying that it’s simply not true. However, Avril has stated that she does want kids and the term ‘down the road’ was used. Hmmm….and to think, she even got a little publicity out of the rumor, didn’t she? Isn’t this how the Katie/Tom/Suri thing started? Yes we want children together, no it’s not a good time right now, guess what we’re having a baby! How long do you figure before an announcement is made? While she may not be preggers now, I think we’ll be hearing sooner than later that she is….just a hunch.

No, you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure out who is the supermodel in this picture and who is the pop artist. Here you see Petra Nemcova and Avril Lavigne attending the KOI opening in Vegas and they paused for a few shots together. Petra is seen towering over Avril, which is funny because I guess you don’t really realize how short a celeb is until they’re standing next to supergiants. This didn’t stop either of them from looking killer dynamite for the event, as they both appeared in gorgeous satin black dresses that complemented their fabulous smiles.

Sum 41 performed at the Intersection in Grand Rapids Michigan on Thursday night and a Best Celeb Gossip reader was able to meet up with Avril Lavigne at her unofficial post-concert birthday party.

After the Sum 41 concert at The Intersection in Grand Rapids on Thursday, Avril had a small birthday party in the venue with her husband and his bandmates. We were eventually able to get her a message that some of her fans were waiting with gifts for her outside and she came right out. She was absolutely thrilled with the gifts we gave her and ended up talking to us for over 15 minutes until finally Deryck told her they had to go because the tour bus wanted to leave. We asked Avril and Deryck if we could get photos with them and they were absolutely happy to do it. So we all got individual photos with Avril and then the two people I was with took photos with Deryck, but just as I was about to take my photo with Deryck, Avril started asking me what I was studying in university so I missed getting one. Then, when he came back to say they had to leave Avril asked him to take a picture with me first because I had missed getting one before! By this time I had even forgotten that I hadn’t had a photo with Deryck, but she still remembered.
