Here is Benji Madden’s ex Sophie Monk out shopping at Ralph’s in L.A. the other day. HATE her for looking so good in track pants and a tank on a shopping spree. But I do love the ‘I’m SO over that tool’ mentality she is pulling off beautifully these days. Speaking of the tool, seems like Sophie’s ex Benji Madden, Paris Hilton’s latest squeeze, is making quite the impression on her parents. Oh, we’ve reached that stage, have we? Yep. They’ve gone on record saying they think he’s the ‘real thing’ and believe that their daughter is genuinely in love for the first time in her life. Riiiggght. I betcha Sophie thought that too once! Prolly ‘round the time she got ENGAGED. Yeah, that tool is a charmer, he’s even snowed someone as bright as Paris, my my. But Paris’s dad says no, don’t judge a book by its cover, he’s polite and well-mannered. Gotta say, I don’t WANT to know the dude that doesn’t have manners when they are in the Hilton home. And I still think, if it looks like a tool, and acts like a tool…..yup, you got it.

OMG, it’s a miracle… Paris Hilton can read! Or, maybe it’s another ploy to look like she’s literate. Sorta like how she was walking around last summer with a copy of “The Secret” in her hands. I bet she’s really just looking through the pictures of the newspaper and hoping to see herself. Besides, it’s written in Czech and I doubt her Czech is as good as her English. Wait, I take that back… it probably is. Here’s the gruesome twosome vacationing, I mean on the Good Charlotte tour, in Prague.

Well, it seems that Paris Hilton and Benji Madden are still going strong, as here they are at Mastro’s Steakhouse in L.A. enjoying a nice St. Patrick’s Day dinner. What, this must be their hundredth date or something, why hasn’t someone drawn up a pre-nup already? In fact, it looks so serious that Paris is even going to go on tour with lover boy Benji. Next week Benji’s group Good Charlotte will be heading to South Africa and the UK for touring, and she will be right along for the ride. And *barf* she says, she’s just happy they’ll be together, no matter where they are. She’s finally at the point where she feels comfortable talking freely about the relationship and says that she knows everyone can tell how happy she is. Whatever…how long are we giving it? 3 months? Any takers for 6? I think the stakes will be high on that one!

It is no secret that Sophie Monk and Benji Madden had a pretty torrid thing going, right down to the diamond ring on her finger. It is no more of a secret that the second he was free Paris Hilton snatched him up before her manicure had even dried. Sophie has now made a point of letting us all know that Benji did not in fact leave her for Paris. She says their relationship had simply ‘run its course’ and that it was a mutual decision to break it off and move on. When does an engagement ‘run its course’ because in my world, I thought that meant forever?? However…..Sophie is lucky that she doesn’t need to spend time pining for Benji as since the breakup her career has gone into overdrive. And I don’t think anyone really believes Benji would leave anyone, even his dog, for Paris Hilton. Noone takes that relationship seriously. She might, as she has been seen sporting Benji’s clothing line, DCMA Collective from head-to-toe as well as wearing a “B” necklace when out shopping in L.A. But honestly, Paris doesn’t even take her pets seriously, is she really going to settle with this one? Nope. Just don’t see it happening.

Benji Madden and Sophie Monk spent some time in Vegas last weekend. To recap, Benji Madden is Nicole Richie’s Baby Daddy’s brother,  and Sophie Monk is a hot actress from Australia (and Benji’s main squeeze). Are the two just comfortable with each other, or does he have a wandering eye? Reports indicated the two barely spent any time together in the Bellaggio nighclub as Benji wandered around posing for pics and Sophie danced by herself. Once again, only time will tell.
