Ah yes, when you reach this level of fabulosity, almost nothing is impossible. And Beyonce is here seen returning to her London hotel with hubby Jay Z after attending a party hosted by the fabulous Rihanna at Mahiki nightclub last month. This is one starlet who doesn’t get snapped too much in the public eye, and she likes to keep it that way. This probably has more than a little to do with the fact that she is quickly becoming, or has become, one of the most highly sought after musicians of our time. And so she should because it is only raw talent that can earn her the A list status and the sweeping 10, yes count them, TEN, nominations for January’s Grammy extravaganza. And she is not the only humble pie eater to acknowledge that that doesn’t happen to just anybody. Though we have Taylor Swift climbing the ladder right behind her with 8 noms, the only thing we CAN predict right now is that this year’s Grammy’s are going to be hot and wildly entertaining.The ‘Halo’ singer and Taylor Swift - who has been recognised in eight categories - were revealed as the most nominated artists at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live! yesterday, with both stars up for the coveted Record, Song and Album of the Year prizes. And when you hear of one person taking 10 nominations, the rest kind of pale in comparison, don’t they? Kanye West, soul singer Maxwell and ‘I Gotta Feeling’ stars Black Eyed Peas all received six nominations, while Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z, French DJ David Guetta and ‘Poker Face’ star Lady Gaga are up for five awards. Joining Beyonce and Taylor in the biggest three categories is Lady Gaga, for her album ‘The Fame’ and single ‘Poker Face’, while Black Eyed Peas were nominated for Album of the Year for ‘The E.N.D.’ and Record of the year for ‘I Gotta Feeling’, while Kings of Leon made the list for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, both for ‘Use Somebody’. Dave Matthews Band’s ‘Big Whiskey And The Groogrux King’ was the final nomination for Album of the Year, while the Song of the Year nominations was rounded off by Maxwell with ‘Pretty Wings’. Performers at Wednesday night’s nominations concert, which was held at Los Angeles’ Club Nokia, included Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell - who played a rendition of the late Michael Jackson’s song ‘The Lady in My Life’ and Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas, who was making his debut with side project The Administration.

The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will take place on January 31 in Los Angeles and will include the following nominations:

Ah yes, it’s always so much fun to dish about the VMA’s isn’t it? Just this time last year we were talking about Britney’s big comeback and how she swept away just about everything worth mentioning at the VMA’s. This year, the story that everyone is talking about is NOT the story on how Beyonce swept it all under her arm this year with almost the same awards that Britney did last year. And we aren’t talking about the moving Michael Jackson tribute as put forth by Madonna and Janet Jackson. If you saw those portions of the show, then you know how great the show was. But if you didn’t, chances are that the biggest thing you know about this years VMA’s is the Kanye West display of rudeness which is likely to have an effect on his career. Oh no, we aren’t talking about a Chris Brown situation, but one that is enough to talk about all the same. The show began with the aforementioned Michael Jackson tribute, and was moving, poignant, and ever so appropriate. It didn’t take long, though, for the mood to change from bittersweet to just plain bitter. West — who has flipped out after losing at the VMAs, the Grammys, the American Music Awards and more, kept his reputation alive by complaining once again that the wrong person had been awarded a trophy. But this time, his complaining was on behalf of Beyonce. Beyonce, nominated for best female video for “Single Ladies” was bested by country and pop sensation Taylor Swift. The 19-year-old was giddy when she won for her clip “You Belong to Me,” saying:

“I always wondered what it would be like to maybe win one of these someday, but never actually thought it would happen.”

Unfortunately she didn’t quite get to finish this thought, as Kanye ruined her moment when he jumped on stage, and protested. “Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” he said, as a shocked Beyonce looked on and the crowd began to boo West. Of course, security took good care of him and as always, the show went on, but one can’t help but feel a little bad for pretty Taylor. She was a little disappointed and didn’t quite get to finish her first every VMA award acceptance speech, but she was applauded all the same. Her thoughts on the matter?

“I was standing on stage and I was really excited because I’d just won the award and then I was really excited because Kanye West was on stage. And then I wasn’t excited anymore after that.”

Yeah, that’s about the nicest way you can say that when someone so rudely steals a moment in your life that you have spent years working towards. But top winner Beyonce who swept away the most awards proved why she really is a top winner after all and came to Taylor’s rescue. While she was accepting the Moonman for video of the year, Beyonce invited Swift onto the stage so she could finish her speech.

“This is amazing. I remember being 17-years-old, up for my first MTV award with Destiny’s Child and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life, so I would like for Taylor to come out and have her moment.”

A smiling Swift came out and said, “Maybe we can try this again.” She continued, thanking “all my fans on Twitter and MySpace and everyone who came out to my shows this summer.” The two winners, both in bright red dresses, hugged and left the stage together. Taylor spoke well for herself, and for America, and acknowledged the elegance that Beyonce exudes.

“It was so wonderful and gracious of her. She’s always been a great person and I thought I couldn’t love Beyoncé more and tonight happened and it was just wonderful.”

You just gotta shake your head at some people. Though this wasn’t a woman beating incident, this is definitely one that has lost some respect for Kanye, and though he has apologized since, we can’t help but notice nobody is talking about the apology, are they? Way to go Taylor and Beyonce and all the other winners from last night’s show.

Yes yes, they did everything they could to keep it under wraps, but that didn’t last very long. Only a day after Jay-Z and Beyonce got married in a quiet little ceremony in New York, they headed out to Greensboro, North Carolina to continue Jay-Z’s Heart of the City Tour with Mary J. Blige. But if the two wanted to keep it quiet, they seemed to have forgotten to mention that to their pal Mary who shouted out her congratulations…..in the Greensboro Coliseum to the entire audience. Oops! This was in fact the only official unofficial announcement that was made, but at this point, that cat is out of the bag. Congratulations to Beyonce and Jay-Z!!!

Here is Kelly Rowland of Destiny’s Child at the InStyle Best Beauty Buys Awards 2008 in London yesterday. Though Kelly is not ruling out a Destiny’s Child reunion, she is eagerly looking forward to a solo career with the launch of her new album Ms. Kelly. Guess the girl is a bit of a neat freak and says touring with Beyonce and Michelle Williams got a little nasty at times. So much so that she has labeled Beyonce a ‘slob’. Maybe she just feels the need to say something mean about her, who knows. Kelly has sort of been known for being more than a little frustrated by the constant comparisons between her and her glamorous bandmate Beyonce. So she is hoping her new solo album will cause people to begin respecting her in her own right. Well, we will just have to see it for ourselves, won’t we?

This hot starlet has been making headlines since Dreamgirls, but the headlines were even hotter for Beyonce when she and Jay Z married in a very quite, private affair over the holidays. The couple have been engaged since May, and married in Paris at the home of Georgio Armani. Yep, life is rough. But despite the quickie quiet wedding, some sources are saying there may be a reason other than newlywed happiness behind Beyonce’s glow, and that we can expect an official preggo announcement any time now. But isn’t this always how it goes? Firs the rumors that one is pregnant, and then the official announcement. Because you know, these celebs really need to lead up to the big news drop, even rumors create publicity so I guess they just milk it for whatever it is worth. Of course, her reps are not confirming anything at this point, but I do have a hunch the official word will be out sooner than later. This is not something you can hide for very long.

You remember of course that Beyonce lost about 20 pounds in about 20 seconds for her role in Dreamgirlz from a liquid diet. You probably remember that because that is all she did was complain about it at the time and how much she wanted her fried chicken. Well, didn’t take her long to get back into THAT routine as we can see Beyonce is well back to her curvier self. Here she is performing in Shanghai and you can see a little bit of pink control pants sneaking a glimpse at the real world instead of hiding under her skirt where it is supposed to be. But what did she expect? When one is wearing a hanky, people are gonna see your gotchies. But she is loving her old look regained and is quite happy with it. Yeah, there’s happy with it, and there’s too much information alarms sounding ALL over the place.

Cell phones have become such an American staple that now the fashion and entertainment industries are picking them up FAST. First it was Prada, followed by Dolce and Gabanna, and last month it was Armani. Now cell phones are going into the music scene as just yesterday Beyonce unveiled the new Samsung B-phone with is pretty much fully loaded with all that is Beyonce. It is a special edition of the Samsung Upstage and you can get it in either gold or burgundy. It features a sexy start-up display, photos and videos that are exclusive to the phone and content you won’t find anywhere else on a cellular device. It even features a song that Beyonce sang when she was 10.

Beyonce told Billboard, “When I was 10, I recorded a song called ‘632-5792′, a phone number. It’s a little embarrassing, but it’s cute. There is a recording of that song on the phone exclusively for my fans. I wanted to make sure people got a feel for who I really am. It’s only through this phone that you can get this close to my life.”

It seems the only way you could actually get closer to Beyonce is if her real number was actually programmed into the phone, but I don’t think fans will get THAT lucky with this one. However, for the Beyonce lover, this phone promises to be all that they want and more. You can pick it up at Walmart and online for less than a hundred bucks on November 4th with a Sprint contract.
