Here are Brad Pitt and Angelina seen earlier this year at the Spirit Awards, and I am guessing that since Angelina is *that perfect* that she is looking more like her pre-pregnancy self than ever these days. Not that we will get a glimpse for some time as she is still hiding from the cameras. But the two have settled back into their France castle while Angelina recovers from the delivery of her twins. Yes, they are only a few weeks old and with four other children undertow, all under the age of 7, they do have their hands full. Well they do, and all of their hired help and full time servant hood at the castles have their hands full as well. Their eldest Maddox has just celebrated his 7th birthday and Daddy Pittlet took him out go-karting around a track in France to celebrate. Sources talk about how cute it was, ‘just Maddox and Brad for father and son time’. Which means, go-karting in the Jolie-Pitt household by themselves probably means that Brad dearest ponied up a several C-notes to rent the track for themselves. That or they had one built at the castle, who knows. This family can’t seem to do anything normal. And just because nobody is saying much about them these days, they’ve decided to go ahead and think about adopting another child. Well, what’s one more really? The twins ARE a good month old now and so they are practically self-sufficient. May as well add another. Seems that our charitable goddess extraordinaire read about an earthquake in China and wants to grab one of the orphans that survived the quake. A source says:

‘She’s made overtures offering a home to one earthquake orphan, or even two if they are siblings’

Whoo boy. Am so tired of hearing about the benevolence of these two. It’s actually getting to a point of ridiculosity if you ask me.

Ah yes, just when we thought we could go a day without saying nothing about these folks, they go and deliver their little ones. Finally! Saturday night was an exciting one in Nice, France as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt saw the birth of their twins. Angelina delivered the babies by C-Section, and it was one of each for the A-listers as they are the proud parents of both a new baby boy and a new baby girl. Knox Leon is the name of their new son, and he was born weighing in at 5.03 pounds and their little princess Vivienne Marcheline was born at 5 pounds. And, per the doctor’s reports, everyone is doing very well. The birth was moved forward from its originally planned date (which was kept secret) due to some medical reasons, to ensure the babies would be born ‘in the best conditions’. Though, no details have been provided as to what any of that meant, but it does sound like an emergency C-section was the end result. These tots will make babies #5 and #6 for the couple who have Maddox (6), Pax (4), Zahara (3) and Shiloh (2). And yes, as expected there is a media frenzy around first shots. Reports as it stands now are that the couple will fetch an unprecedented $24 million for the baby pictures, though who will be the lucky recipient is still mum. As with Shiloh, it is anticipated that all funds from the baby pictures will go to charity.

It sounds like if Brad and Angelina were expecting huge crowds and an outpouring of love from the adoring French while they awaited the arrival of their twins, they were disappointed. Or perhaps, the indifference of the French to celebrities is the reason they chose to deliver their babies in France. Either way, they are being met with very little, if any, fans and heartwarming welcomes. In fact, they are being treated like any other couple about to have some babies. The locals in Nice, France aren’t apparently as Nice as their city’s name may imply, or at best, they are indifferent. They simply don’t care. The only way one can tell some American A-listers are hovering in the country is from the small handful of paps situated outside the hospital where they are staying, and they are only there because they know their work will sell well to the American media publications. Even they care little outside of putting some food on the table. And it’s not just the Brangelinas. Nice people just don’t give the time of day to any celebrities that grace their streets, as they pride themselves on being more down to earth, lovers of culture and of love, but also very confident. The Nice take pride in being sexy and confident themselves, and just don’t need other people, particularly celebrities, to aspire to. The Nice consider people’s lives to be their own, and that includes celebrities, and if those lives don’t affect their own, well, they just don’t care. Finally. Some people that are happy to voice their opinions about the Brangelina’s out loud.

From what we know so far, Angelina’s twins are not here yet, but the chances are good that they are very close to their birthday. This is the hospital that Angelina checked into yesterday in Cannes, France. Angelina checked into the Santa Maria maternity clinic at the seafront hospital in the south of France yesterday in order to stay under doctor’s surveillance and to get some rest before she gives birth. All reports are saying that there is no emergency or dire situation happening, the pre-birth rest has been planned for some time and that Angelina and all of her Pittlets are doing just fine. In fact, sources are even saying that she’s not on the verge of giving birth at all, but it is likely she will stay in the hospital until they do arrive. The babies are due in August, though multiple pregnancies do generally lead to an early arrival, and so seeing them come early, or even soon, would not be all that unusual. And, given their elite surroundings in their castle at the Miraval Estate in the South of France, even sweet setups in a hospital probably pale in comparison, so I can’t see her staying in for too long. The hospital she is staying in is named after the Baron de Lenval, and is reputed as the most modern hospital in France with a specialty for caring after children. And ah yes, its address is fitting for these American celebrities, as it is conveniently located on California Avenue. Naturally.
