Britney Spears is spotted here landing at LAX after being in Australia for her Circus tour, and is seen being escorted to an awaiting car by her bodyguards and the ever present crowd of paparazzi. She has just wrapped up her ever popular Circus tour, and it sounds like the tour has taken its toll on her, as sources are saying that what she looks like here, is MUCH different than her appearances now that she is home again and trying to settle back into normal life. Well that doesn’t sound too shocking, a world wide tour for a normal person could be a little harrowing and exhausting, but to a mom of two wee ones who suffers from bipolar disorder, well, you have to know the homecoming is not going to be easy, and sources are saying this may lead to another trip to the looney bin if she isn’t careful. Life & Style” reports that our princess of pop has been spotted frequently at the chic Mondrian Hotel in L.A. over the past two months where the magazine reports she spends much of her time impersonating Stewie from the “Family Guy” cartoon. It’s the same luxury establishment that a bald and very troubled Britney crashed during the height of her 2008 breakdown, when she was spotted shaving her legs in the pool bathroom and borrowing a bikini from a hotel guest before posing with fans poolside for photos which later appeared all over the tabloids. The bizarre behavior reportedly followed a failed check-in attempt when her credit card was turned down at the front desk. Fast-forward to 2010 and the 28-year-old singer is reportedly finding it hard adjusting to life at home after spending eight months on the road last year for her “Circus” world tour. One of our tour mates has reported:

“She said she misses the environment of a busy hotel when she stops touring. She seems to love having people around her. She’s friendly and interested in everybody - she started talking to one guest and even jokingly offered to sing at the woman’s wedding!”

Another tabloid also reports the mother-of-two, who owns a mansion in L.A., has been staying at the five-star hotel for a few days every couple of weeks with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“She’s no reason to be there. Last time she had staff running around after her kids as they both caught flu and she had no medicine for them. She uses the gym, is waited on and she uses the babysitting service.”

While celebrity publicist Todd Shapiro told “Life & Style” he spotted Spears hard at work on her trademark abs at the hotel’s fitness centre on Jan. 5, another insider tells the magazine that the star’s workouts have been more than a little unusual, and that she’s even adopted the British accent she was so fond of using when she went off the rails two years ago.

“She’s obsessed with the show Family Guy and was doing Stewie impressions in the gym. She even ordered chicken wings to be delivered to the gym, which raised eyebrows. She asked to replace the buffalo sauce with sweet chili.”

The starlet’s hotel escapades aren’t the only warning signs she may be headed down a similar path of personal destruction that eventually led to her infamous psych ward visit. Gossip sites began speculating Spears had reached her spending limit again when she used her bodyguard’s credit card to buy a pair of boots last week. Despite recently signing on as the face of “Candies” through 2010, the conservatorship agreement reportedly only allows her to put $1,500 a week on credit. And since Brit recently decided to go back to brunette, it doesn’t bode well for those clinging to the hope that the hard-working mom is just having a bit of fun. After all, it was the darker ‘do that appeared in the months leading up to the shave job seen ’round the world. Well, we certainly do hope that these kinds of escapades are going to fall under the “weird artist” category, and that she stays on her toes, for her kids sake if nothing else. My hunch is that this is all speculation, and that she is just being herself and acting out maybe a smidge, but I don’t foresee a trip to the bin any time soon. People like to talk and badly about her at that, and I really think she knows she has worked too hard to get where she is back to today and just needs a little down time.

Here is a girl that has finally learned the art of an elusive relationship when you are in the public eye, as her relationship with boyfriend slash manager Jason Trawick has been so under the radar that not many people even knew it existed. But here she is taking some time out between concerts to vacation in Sydney Harbor, Australia with her kiddos and her boyfriend Jason. Or should we say, THEN boyfriend. The group looked every bit the happy family as they ate al fresco on their launch, and Jason was spotted doting on the boys, playing hide and seek, and doing all the things that good boyfriends do when they want to make impressions on girlfriends slash mommies. As the day drew to a close, Britney slipped into his polo shirt even to keep the chill away, and the happy gang disembarked back to their hotel. But it seems days like that are over as reports are that Britney has landed in splitsville yet again after he was spotted cavorting with two other women at a Los Angeles bar. The ‘Toxic’ singer is said to be “distraught” after learning Jason Trawick had been flirting with two women at Los Angeles’ bar Roger Room and is now refusing to take his calls. Ella Davis, a reveler at the bar, told the Daily Mirror newspaper:

“Jason left the bar with two bottles of water - and a stunning blonde who looked like Britney. He had his arms around her and they looked very much like they were together for the night.”

Friends of Jason - who has proposed to Britney a number of times - have defended him, insisting his behavior is out of character. A source added: “Jason’s a great guy and super loyal. This behavior is really out of character. But Los Angeles is a small town and word soon got back to Britney he’d had a wild one.

“When she heard he’d been caught cozying up two girls in The Roger Room, it was the last straw. Jason’s really not like this and quickly tried to calm Britney down and rectify the situation. He explained the girls were just friends and there was nothing in it but they still had a massive row.

The general consensus in Hollywood? Everyone is assuming its over - for the time being anyway. After the argument Britney called her mother who has flown in from Louisiana to comfort her. Britney - who has two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline - and agent Jason started dating last March. They split briefly in August, but soon reconciled. So it may be that this is an on again off again and maybe on again thing, who knows. We just want Britney happy, don’t we? She needs a big fat cheater in her life like she needs a hole in her head.

Yes, she always keeps us guessing about what will become of her next, whether it is her personal style, hair cut or color, custody situation, legal situation, romance situation…EVERY situation she encounters seems to tweak her life a little more and it seems this is one starlet drama cycle that we will never get tired of. Here Britney is seen in all her new brunette glory, flashing one of her fabulous smiles, as she heads out to run some errands with with her new boyfriend, and long-time manager, Jason Trawick. The pair went shopping in ‘Bed, Bath and Beyond’ and stocked up on household items including brooms and picture frames. And because this is a couple that can never do anything alone now, naturally they were escorted by two of Britney’s bodyguards. Just another Sunday in the life of Britney Spears! And now that there are some changes in Britney’s legal situation, it may well be that she is able to do a little more personal shopping of her own now. We all know that her finances have been under the tight fist of her father and conservator of her estate, Jamie Spears, and this has been the case ever since her bipolar breakdown so many moons ago. It seems that life and health are good for Britney, and steps are being taken to resume some control of her own life. As it stands now, this conservatorship/lordship of her father may come to an end, and surprisingly enough, her own father is making the steps to do so. What will become of his $125,000 a month salary then? It will hit the dust, so maybe finally he’s gotten enough of her money to keep him happy and leave her finances alone for a while. But it doesn’t seem to phase him, as the 27-year-old singer’s father Jamie Spears - who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs following her public breakdown last year - wants a judge to review the conditions of the agreement when Britney’s ‘Circus’ world tour concludes in November. But unfortunately it doesn’t sound like Jamie has the final say here. Gossip website TMZ reports:

“Jamie can’t ask the judge to end it - just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life.”

Jamie thinks Britney - who currently has shared custody of her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James - is now strong enough to look after herself. This is just another sign that Britney Spears is not just back, but back for good. So let’s cross our fingers that her judge feels the same and lets her start living her own life.

Awww. This is kind of sad actually. I’ve been so proud of her since her comeback, and we all know how the love between Brit and K-Fed may be volatile, but it is real as these two genuinely care for each other. And now, Britney Spears is reportedly devastated after discovering her ex-husband Kevin Federline has proposed to his girlfriend Victoria Prince. So much so she even feels betrayed by him. The singer is reportedly furious with her ex-husband - with who she has two children, Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two - after he proposed to current girlfriend Victoria Prince because she still has feelings for him. Apparently he knew this, but you know nobody will ever really know for sure. During Britney’s comeback there has been talk of course that a comeback was pending, but nobody really ever banked on it. But the kernel was planted, there is some serious history between these two, and it has been said that Britney always hoped they would get back together. And then we have the added knife to the gut. Britney - who divorced Kevin in 2007 - is said to be particularly concerned with the amount of time Victoria will be spending with her sons. A friend of hers has said:

“Britney’s not keen on Victoria. Victoria gets on really well with Sean and Jayden and sees more of them than Britney because they live with Kevin. I don’t think Britney saw her as a threat until Kevin proposed but now she will be stepmother to Britney’s kids and that doesn’t make her happy.”

I gotta say I feel bad for the girl. Even if she had moved on herself, it is still a little heartbreaking to see someone do it before you do. Group hug, Brit.

And ever since her big comeback this girl has been making waves, and her recent tour to promote her album Circus is definitely a tidal wave in the making. During her show, Britney danced and sang through a three ring extravaganza, that included contortionists, illusionists manic aerialists, and the infamous blogger Perez Hilton who started the show off with a video montage. And this kind of performance is what Britney was using to show the world that she is not just back, she is back with a style that will not be forgotten any time soon. She has started using that mentality in her work life, and has also now trying to take control of some more personal matters as well. We have all heard that Britney has had some issues with finances, not that she isn’t making a fortune, but that she isn’t able to access her fortunes as freely as she would like. Her dad as it stands now is her conservator, which means he is in charge of her money matters and controls her spending habits. Seems that Britney has finally gotten tired of that and has been leaving voicemails for her lawyer asking for help in lifting this conservatorship so she can take control of her life again, slowly but surely. But Britney is not just worried about losing her money, it seems her dad has been making some threats that extend beyond the management of her finances. Her lawyer, a man with the ironic name of Andrew Wallet, is on the case after having received a voicemail from Britney on January 29th, that went like this:

“Hi my name’s Britney Spears. I called you earlier. I’m calling again because I just wanted to make sure that during the process of the eliminating the conservatorship that my father has threatened me several times, that you know, he’ll take my children away. I just want to be guaranteed that everything will be fine with the process and that you guys are taking care of everything, that things will stay the same as far as my custodial time. That’s it, bye.”

It has been claimed the person leaving the message is definitely Britney, with a source telling OK! magazine: “It’s the real deal. This is what convinced Jamie to go back to court to have the restraining orders reinstated against Sam Lutfi and Adnan Ghalib.” Jamie returned to court earlier this year to get the temporary restraining orders against Britney’s ex-manager Sam and her ex-boyfriend Adnan extended. During the case, it was alleged Sam was continually trying to contact Britney via text message leaving her terrified. So, this is definitely a girl with quite the tangled web on her hands, but I give her mega props for keeping her eyes wide open from those that may have other agendas for her on their plate.

Britney’s long awaited comeback tour has finally kicked off in New Orleans the other night, and by all accounts, Britney delivered much more than many were expecting. Britney held a dress rehearsal at the New Orleans Arena on Monday night for a small group of 150 fans and all those in attendance were much more wowed than even they were hoping. Libby Davis, of Baton Rouge radio station WFMF who gave away tickets to the rehearsal said that even for a handful of fans Britney performed as if she were in front of a crowd of thousands. And for those that have been a little critical of her shape and figure, Britney has given no reason to continue the criticism as she showed off a body to die for. Davis reported that her arm and leg muscles even could be seen from where they were sitting, and that the scanty costumes designed for the show were enough to showcase just how sexy she is, while at the same time adding pomp and circumstance to the show’s entirety. The best descriptor of the show is ‘Cirque du Soleil Meets Moulin Rouge’ so for those of you with tickets to her Circus tour, know that you will be in for quite a showing. The dress rehearsal was intended for family and friends and a select few lucky fans that won tickets to the show, and the crowd was chanting loud and large to the tune of ‘Britney Britney Britney we support you!’ And Britney was all about being professional described Libby:

“She put on the entire show as if it were a full house. She catered to us. She even stopped during ‘Womanizer’ because she realized we couldn’t see her. She said, ‘Let’s do it over.’ ”

And, if you are acting as Britney’s manager these days, then you are sitting kinda pretty as she is returning back to her cash in the bank status. Britney’s manager, Larry Rudolph recently spoke with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM Radio Show about the tour expectations, and he said that this will be a full out, full blown, Britney Spears show. He chalked all of Britney’s comeback success to her two children, Preston (3) and Jayden (2) who give her the strength and inspiration she needed to climb her way back up to the top of the charts. As far as her fans are concerned, it doesn’t seem to really matter what got her back there, the point being that she got back at all. This may go down as one of the biggest comebacks in American pop culture history, and well, if anybody is going to do that, it will be Britney.

Oh yes, this is the life when you are a celebrity. Every mole that you ever ran across during your lowest points sits and waits for you to get back on your feet again so that they can slam you with a libellous lawsuit. And such is the case with Sam Lufti, the manager that Britney Spears had for about five minutes when she was going through her trainwreck season. But many of you may know him better as Satan, because that is pretty much how he ran her life, in hell. I guess that second restraining order she put on him didn’t go over so well, because now he is suing her for libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and what else, oh yes, breach of contract. The libel and defamation charges stem from some words that Lynne Spears put in her what is she calling it, memoir? In the book, Lynn accuses Sam of grinding up pills and sneaking them into Britney’s food as well as disconnecting her phone. And if you are wondering why Sam is suing Britney instead of Lynne, it is because deeper pockets speak much louder in his world. As to the battery charges, he says that just a few days before she was committed to the looney bin, Britney’s dad had a run-in with Sam and when Sam made a few not so flattering remarks about the aforementioned Lynne, Jamie punched Sam. And so….Britney is getting sued for battery also. The Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress charge comes from well, I guess he just wanted to throw something else in there, because that one shows up for many of these celebrity suits. And the breach of contract comes from an oral contract between he and Britney where he was to earn 15% of her income based on a conversation they had. He is using a text from Britney as ‘evidence’:

“sam, so thats fine, i want you to be my manager, you were right its 15 percent of my money but for 4 years not 5.”

I guess by suing Britney for things that her parents said or did is a vain hope of Sam’s to clean up his image? But he is failing sadly there as it only serves to remind us of how scrubby and creepy he is. But I am sure, as his suit implies, he will be quick to say that Britney is just Not. That. Innocent.

We have seen this girl move uphill to the top of the charts and then downhill to the top of the headlines with mental health concerns that lead to an absolute upheaval in her life where she lost just about everything. There was a time when nobody thought Britney would be able to make it back, and once she lost custody of her children it seemed like her demise was set in stone. But Britney wouldn’t let us think that for long, as this year she has made a comeback like nobody expected. Gone are the days where she has to count weeks before she gets minutes with her babies, or count pennies as she takes an allotted $1500 weekly allowance as doled out by her father and conservator of her estate, Jamie Spears. This week Britney proved that she is back in charge with her life as she has recently gone above her $1500 weekly allowance to purchase a home to the tune of $9 million dollars. And the fancy digs you see here are not her new home, but rather the humble abode she has leased while she waits for her new home to be built very close by. The new leased home is called the Chateau Suenos, and is being leased by Britney for a cool $19,000 a month while her new home is being built. Britney’s new home is not expected to begin construction for at least another year as she goes through the planning, development, and contracting of the home, but this one will ‘do for now’. It is a 10,300 square foot home in The Oaks development which is a gated community that will ensure her privacy. Included in her little rental are an Art Theater, Wine Cellar, Elevator, Grand Master Suite, Full Guest House, Garage with underground Auto Lift, Sparkling Pool with Mosaic Tiled Infinity Spa, and impeccably landscaped grounds to name just a few amenities. Britney has already started moving into her new home, and has been seen toting toys and children items into the home as it is presumed that her babies Sean Preston who is 3, and Jayden James who is 2 will be spending more time with her. About the move we see a new Britney, the mom we grew to love once upon a time, and it is not her chart topping hits or her fabulous comeback that makes her beam, it is her boys.

I just took my babies to our new home, and they loved it! I can’t wait to move in!

And, as she settles into her new temporary digs, she is working on selling her current six bedroom, six bathroom Los Angeles home for approximately $8.8 million dollars. The reason she chose a home outside of L.A.? She wanted a neighborhood such as a gated community that was more quiet and less trafficked by paps and fans. She wanted something more accessible to parks and recreation locales for her little ones. And pretty impressive as well I might add. It sounds like Britney is just checking things off her list left right and center when it comes to coming back with a vengeance!
