Ah yes, it seems that John Mayer can not stop defending himself, and Jennifer Aniston when it comes to the breakup of their relationship. He gets outraged and stands at press conferences defending the situation, while in the meantime, Jennifer is out playing with her new model friend and saying ‘John who??’. John held a press conference outside his gym last Saturday to speak up for Jennifer calling her the ‘smartest, sexiest, most sophisticated person I’ve ever met’…..but while he proclaims his accolades for the girl, he follows it up quickly with ‘I’m not a cheater, and I sure as heck wasn’t the one that got dumped’. What is it about men that they need to assure the rest of the world that THEY did the dumping. Oh yes, you passed on a hot sophisticated woman like Jennifer Aniston, just because you CAN right? *eyes rolling* He says he ended it because he wanted to ‘be alone’ and he doesn’t like to waste anyone’s time in a relationship if they aren’t on the same page. He considers himself ‘brave’ for getting out when he knew it wasn’t working, and said that probably 20% of America is stuck in a relationship they don’t want to be in. SO kudos to John I guess, or at least that’s what he wants us to say. Because I have a feeling, that well over 20% of the American male population would get on Jennifer’s page pretty darn quick whether they wanted to or not…just because she’s that sexy, that sophisticated, and that awesome. But we’ll let John John think whatever he wants if it helps him sleep at night….

Is this woman not aware of the fact that there are more than three men in Hollywood….or New York even where she lives with her son Ryder? Apparently not, and for those of you that had bets that she’d be trying to hook back up with Owen Wilson before the summer is out, well, you may have earned yourself some coin. Maybe in this case the third time will be the charm with this one, as Kate is reportedly attempting to reconcile with her ex boyfriend twice removed Owen Wilson yet again. And how this will go over, who knows. She broke his heart once, shortly before his tragic suicide attempt, reconciled, then smashed it to bits again to take a whirl with his buddy Lance Armstrong. Since her split with Lance, she has also been linked to yet another ex boyfriend, hockey star Eric Lindross. When that didn’t work out, she started ‘bombarding’ Owen with text messages and phone calls. Owen’s response? A little ‘frosty’ which is a heckuva lot nicer than some men would be, so I give him some props. However, perhaps they truly are fated to be together since he is actually considering a reconciliation. Owen definitely felt betrayed by Kate in both breakups, but it seems now his big ol heart has caved for the girl and he’s acting all sweet on her again. Owen’s friends (and I’m sure the rest of the world) are a little concerned, because he apparently genuinely cares for the girl and her serial dating always leaves him crushed. Well, I have to say, as much as I hate how she’s treated him, I have always loved these two as a couple, they DO seem perfectly matched. So let’s hope *fingers crossed* Kate has made up her mind for good this time.

Christina Applegate is seen here filming some scenes for her hit show ‘Samantha Who’ and this scene was shot just weeks before Christina received the tragic news that she was suffering from breast cancer. Christina is the daughter of a breast cancer survivor, and this genetic heritage led her to start getting checked for breast cancer at the age of 30. Christina and her medical team acted quickly however, as only one can when dealing with such a diagnosis, and immediately received a double mastectomy as the first step in her treatment. And apparently this first step is the only major step she will have to deal with, because thanks to the quick surgery, Christina Applegate is now completely cancer free. Christina told Good Morning America that she is now ‘clean and clear’ of cancer and has post-surgery recovery to contend with and reconstructive work to focus on. While Christina will be undergoing breast reconstruction over the next 8 months, this will be the last step in her battle against cancer. She did speak candidly with Good Morning America about her struggles, saying

“Sometimes I cry, sometimes I scream, it’s all part of healing…it’s OK to cry, it’s OK to fall on the ground and just scream if you want to.”

But overall, she says she hasn’t let any of it get her down, and is keeping a fabulous attitude. She is excited to get her new set of girls and insists they will be more fabulous than ever saying her boobs will be ‘cute till she’s 90’, she’ll have ‘the best breasts in the nursing home’. Way to go Christina for kicking cancer’s butt and the strength that I am sure is inspiring millions. You can support Christina and anyone else you may know struggling with this disease on September 5th in the major networks program ‘Stand Up to Cancer’.

Sienna Miller is seen here panicking as she drives around Los Angeles the other day trying to get away from the media frenzy that is chasing her down and throwing out homewrecker insults at her. She was so frazzled that she even had to stop and get a police escort to get away from the throng of meanies that were bashing her for yet another involvement with a married man. Not just any married man mind you, a married man with four children, the youngest not even a year old yet, so Sienna has taken much more heat than her boyfriend Balthazar has. Anyone care? Not here, I mean, you gotta lie in the bed you make sweetheart. But I guess Sienna’s life is in such shambles over the whole torrid affair that she needs to get away from the alienation in Hollywood and is escaping to her ‘safe place’ in Ibiza, Spain. She’s going to be visiting her step mom and her sister and of course, she hasn’t learned much through all of this, because naturally her Getty boyfriend is hot on her tails for a little getaway himself. This may be interesting actually, Ibiza is a known getaway for ex pal Kate Moss who is now BFF with Sienna’s former ex, Rhys Ifans, a man whose heart Sienna broke just barely weeks ago. Hm, wouldn’t it be fun if they all just happened to bump into each other? Not at all awkward!

Kim Kardashian is seen here as the Kardashian family showcases the Kardashian love and support for Kim’s recent appearance with the Pussycat Dolls in Las Vegas Friday night. Kim was given an elite invitation to perform with the Dolls at the Pure Nightclub in Caesar’s Palace. So Kim’s D list days may be coming to an end if she is getting some recognition from the Pussycat Dolls, she may be squirming her way to the C list in her booty hugging outfits. Which by all accounts would mean it’s just one more thing that is going swell for Kimmy as reports are that she and longtime beau Reggie Bush of the NFL New Orleans Saints are getting serious and are even talking marriage. Kim truly believes she has finally found Mr. Right and describes Reggie as a ‘sweet, normal guy’. She says they do talk about marriage and longevity frequently, and I think what is most surprising is that this is a relationship that lasted when noone else thought that it would, so more power to both of them. Kim will finish taping the next season of the family’s reality show ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ and then head off to New Orleans for quite some time until Reggie is done with the NFL season. If all continues to go well for the lovebirds, my bet would be an engagement announcement shortly after the season, so perhaps look for one around late January or February. What do you think? She is seen here at the premiere to Tom Cruise’s latest work ‘Tropical Thunder’ and is towering over her famously short hubby in sparkling heels and a gorgeous navy dress. As it turns out, finding out ‘who’ Katie is wearing will not be difficult, as Katie Holmes is wearing a Katie Holmes original. Yes, this strappy, navy, pleated and form hugging ensemble is one that Katie created herself with the help of her stylist Jeanne Yang. The dress features a leather pleated bodice and a figure fitting skirt and is easily one of Katie’s ‘new’ favorites. But don’t be expecting a fashion line coming from this girl any time soon, she is doing it just for fun, and to see if ‘she can’ and well….I’d say she’s doing very well thus far.
