Well well, these two are quickly becoming oddly inseparable. Dining here, vacay there, they are seen just about everywhere these days. But for quite some time Lance Armstrong has been hanging out with Kate while she does the promo thing for her next movie and he’s been getting a birds eye view of life in the Hudson lane. Not long ago, it was Kate’s turn to see what the Lance life is all about. And they spent a whole week together in…Canada of all places. Yes, first they spent some time up at the cottage in Muskoka, Ontario that Kate’s family owns and then they appeared in the “Ride with Lance” event in Waterloo, Ontario. The ride was a 117 km bike ride to raise money for cancer, and included the ride and a huge gala dinner afterward. And we know that Kate knows galas, so Lance was well accompanied. The couple jetted back to New York City where they met in Brooklyn for Father’s Day. Kate and Lance met up with Kate’s ex, Chris Robinson and his new love interest (who apparently is unimportant and thus nameless). And of course, Kate and Chris’s son Ryder who is 4 was in attendance as well as Lance’s kids Luke who is 8, and twins Isabelle and Grace who are 6. Anyone else finding that weird? I mean, these two really just started dating. I would think that introducing your boyfriends children to your ex-husband and father of your own child is more like a fifth or sixth date material, no?

Here are Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes with little Suri enjoying some time at an L.A. Galaxy game to support their pal David Beckham. The Becks and the Cruises are of course BFF so the Cruises are sitting in the Beckham box with all of the Beckham tykes as well. Katie is looking calm despite the bustling brood around her, and that may be because she’s just signed on to do some work on Broadway. Katie will be joining John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, and Patrick Wilson in the Broadway revival of ‘All My Sons’ by Arthur Miller. Katie is psyched, in fact she wanted to do stage work long before she hit Tinseltown and spent her high school years as the lead in every musical. For Broadway lovers, keep your eyes out for Mrs. Cruise’s Broadway debut.

In case you were wondering what planet the Brangelina’s have dropped onto, here are Bradd Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoying some time with their children as they partake in a very quiet Mother’s Day weekend. Well, quiet is as quiet does when you are one of the most photographed couples in the world. The couple are now living in the South of France while they way for mama-to-be birth her little Pittlets. Over the weekend the couple took Pax and Zahara out on a little rocky stroll near their home in the South of France, with The Edge from U2 in company. Zahara was helping mommy out quite a bit on the rocky trails, while Brad and The Edge played near the water with little Pax. Later on in the weekend, Angelina got some quiet mommy time with her girls, as Brad treated the boys Maddox and Pax to some helicopter time. Just a little day trip for boys day out as they sped to Monaco and spent some quality time. Gotta love those day trips to Monaco, don’t you? Just the break anyone needs.

Here is a pic of Britney’s kids Sean and Jayden at the zoo with their nanny, though by the looks of it, nanny time may be getting sparse in the near future. Britney Spears appeared in court yesterday, and at first it was the fact that she showed up on time that made headlines. However, the court hearing was one of many in Britney’s long custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Thoughts at first were hesitant given some of the stuff she’s been through this year, but it looks like the courts are smiling on the progress Britney has made the past few months. In fact, the words ‘blown away’ at her amazing progress were actually used by Commish Scott Gordon who sat on the hearing. And he rewarded her in kind with more visitation and some overnight time. Her current visitation time will be extended to 3 supervised days a week, and within the month she will be allowed overnight stays. The objective is for Britney to get 50% custody, and she *fingers crossed* should be seeing that within a few months. Looks like this is one of those stories where, you live and you really do learn.

Yes yes, we may just have an overexuberant grandma on our hands. OR at the ripe age of three months, Nicole Richie’s daughter Harlow may have uttered her first words. When grandma was holding her the other day, Harlow apparently said ‘Hi!’ (with the exclamation mark). Nicole was there of course and said…’I don’ think she knew what she was saying’. But Brenda, Harlow’s grandmum says, Nicole talks to her all the time and Harlow tries to answer back. Brenda also says Harlow is trying to crawl already, a stage that generally doesn’t happen until the 8 or 9 month mark. But this is not abnormal, many if not most grandparents get very excited at the littlest advances in development, that these little things look much bigger than they are. OR Nicole Richie has a genius on her hands. What would the odds on THAT be?
