Apparently Kiera Knightly, Courtney Love, and Scarlett Johanssen would all rather go naked than wear fake Chanel. Seriously, as if any of them have worn fake anything in their entire celebrity life. And Courtney Love in Chanel, gotta say, woulda lost that bet BIG TIME. Just goes to show, Chanel can make anyone look classy. I do love the tag line, but the line would have a lot more pop if it were normal everyday people saying it, and posing accordingly. Ok, I know, no one wants to see normal people naked, got it. And of course, Chanel has a huge line of celebs on their bulletin boards – Monroe, Hepburn, Kidman, etc. etc. So of course they have to brand their brand accordingly. Not that they need any advertising, but this campaign should make some nice waves.

It seems Courtney Love finally came out from under the rock she’s been hiding under and decided to do some retail therapy at Kitson’s the other day. And true to Courtney Love form she looked a bit of a hot mess. Love her pieces she has thrown on, but not all in the same outfit. Great dress, great bag, great necklace, but with that dress? Uh, no. And I have to say, out of all the celebs I LEAST expected to don the ballet slippers look, she pretty much topped the list there. But here she is in all her bejeweled glory.

Miss Courtney Love was escorted into Mr.Chow’s by photographer (boyfriend!?) David LaChapelle. She made it clear to the paparazzi in an affected French accent that:

“This is David LaChapelle… and he is not a homosexual. He is a straight, man!”

OK, it’s hard for me to believe that this is Courtney Love, but it is! She’s looking super skinny, frail and mentally wasted. I guess that’s what happens when you don’t eat. She looks surprisingly young though, and beautiful in the second pic, but her body is a little scary… too skinny! It’s interesting how she still has big boobs, and absolutely nothing in between her skin and shoulder bones. Courtney was snapped “dining” by phothogs @ Mr. Chow’s before attending an event hosted by Chanel in Beverly Hills.

Kurt Cobain’s widow, Courtney Love, 42, says she plans to auction off most of her late husband’s belongings @ Christie’s auction house, reports AOL Website Spinner.com. However, no date has been set for the auction, AOL publicist Kurt Patat told The Associated Press on Monday. She plans on donating a lot of the monies to charity.

Courtney told reporters:

“My daughter doesn’t need to inherit a giant … bag full of flannel … shirts,” says Love, former frontwoman of the rock band Hole. “A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to `(Smells Like) Teen Spirit’ — that’s what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we’ll just … sell.”

I love the girls’ taste in guitars… I had no idea that the Hello Kitty product line is so huge! I have a Hello Kitty telephone on my bedside table, but I never really imagined that there was this much more!
