Here are Tom Cruise, Suri and Katie Holmes at the Spice Girls concert in LA’s Staples Center. This past Wednesday night’s show was the Spice Girl’s second sold-out concert. How cute is Suri and Beck’s boy! David Beckham acted like quite the hands-on family man as he made some Cotton Candy for the kids. It’s amazing how successful the reunited British pop group is.! I was at my local movie store the other day and the woman in front of me wanted to take out Spice World. The movie teller dude told her that the movie Spice World wasn’t in stock anymore, but that she was the sixth person that day who had asked for it. Ouch! In other Suri related news, she was spotted with mum shopping at The Grove in Beverly Hills this past Friday.

And here we have David Beckham letting loose a little while on a recent trip to Vancouver, B.C. Canada. David was with his team-mates of the L.A. Galaxy while in Vancouver for a friendly game between the Galaxy and the Vancouver Whitecaps. After the game, David and his team decided to head out to a local joint to relax and unwind for a little bit, well, a little bit of seven hours apparently. Guess he was really making up for lost time given that he’s been dedicated to painting the picture of devoted husband and father lately. If this is the case however, he should be careful about who he is being snapped with, photography wise that is, as this lovely brunette bar maid he is pictured with was quite the presence in his unwinding brawl with the boys. What do you think Mrs. Becks will say about that? Good thing for David, Victoria Beckham may be a little busy at the moment to think about it as she just finished up her first comeback performance with the Spice Girls last night, an extravagant event in Hollywood that David missed out on. Yup, he was working again, and spent the time in the UK prepping for another friendly with the Austria team. Hard working Dad, that’s our Becks. But doesn’t everyone need a little down time once in a while?

Well, it seems David Beckham is needing a little side work and has partnered up with Georgio Armani to become the new global ambassador of the Armani Fashion House. What exactly is a global ambassador for fashion? It seems Becks is going to be the front for an underwear campaign that will splash across print ads in magazines and billboards as well. It’s a three year deal that will bring him an extra 20 million pounds plus royalties on the side. This deal came in light of some of his other endorsements coming to an end this year with Vodafone and Gillette. His management team is trying to maximize his earnings as his football years are numbered it seems. Somehow I just don’t believe the Becks are struggling with money issues, but I guess it’s good to have your bases covered. So, the Armani deal will be a nice top up for three years on top of his half a million he receives weekly for his ACTUAL career which is playing football. And he will be hanging on to his Pepsi, Motorola, Adidas, and Coty perfume endorsements at the same time. Yup, life is rough!

Victoria and David Beckham out on yet another shopping jaunt. Well, what else can you do with your time when you have bozillions in the bank? (sidenote, LOVIN Vic’s shoes) Oh and when you shop in Hollywood, you run into people. Today it was Queen Latifah. Kiss kiss, hug hug as you always must with royalty. You would almost think this was planned with the matching colors, one can only guess. I have to say, I love Queen Latifah. You have to love a girl that is so real in a world that is so not. But she’s cute here. Doncha think Queenie is looking a little Becks struck? (as if I wouldn’t)

The stars were out in full force this weekend to see David Beckham’s debut with the L.A. Galaxy. The fact that Becks was suffering from an ankle injury and could barely make contact with the ball without obvious anguish had no effect on the crowd.  Here you see Victoria sitting with her neighbours the Cruise girls and Eva Longoria. Also in the celeb box were California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife Maria, actors John Hurt and Ray Winstone, and the Beckham’s manager Simon Fuller. Festivities did not end with the soccer game, as Tom Cruise and Will Smith later hosted a star-studded “Welcome to L.A.” bash for the Beckham clan at the Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A.

Yum  yum, bring it like Beckham. Coffee that is. Here is a shot of David Beckham pickin up a cuppa joe. I think we should all stop for a universal moment of silent staring….*sigh* ok. In other Beckham news, Victoria Beckham has been saying she is saving up all of her designer bags if she ever has a little girl. Seriously, these two are just killing me today. The thought of a host of pretty bags sitting in a closet with no one to play with just seems so cruel. But, Victoria says they are an investment, and she will wait to pass them on. Ok then, back to staring. Yummy yummy, of course I mean the coffee. I wonder what he takes in it?
