Yes, it’s now final… Marilyn Manson, 38, and burlesque dancer Dita von Teese, 35, are officially divorced. How fickle love is in Hollywood, and even for goths! According to the Associated Press, both will start the new year single. Their marriage of over 2 years ended this Thursday with the judgment filed in Superior Court. However, Dita von Teese allegedly filed the divorce papers over a year ago and cited irreconcilable differences for the split. The two were married in November 2005 and it appears to have been much more difficult for Manson. He later told Spin magazine that he was devastated over the breakup. But, Marilyn seems to have recovered quite nicely because he is now dating a much younger woman, actress Evan Rachel Wood, 20. Well, I guess that on the bright side, now Dita doesn’t have to put up with his instability, heavy drinking, and make-up pinching. I could put up with a BF’s heavy drinking, but he better not touch my lip gloss!

Well well, here our favorite vamp has decided to come out of the shadows and grace us with her presence in the light of day. Here is Dita Von Teese spending the day on Rodeo Drive this past Sunday with a male companion. She was spotted having a bite to eat and then applying her make-up on the terrace of Barneys of New York. What, do you mean her face isn’t natural? Huh. I really wonder just how long it takes for her to put all that stuff on, I am sure there’s a pre-show before she leaves the house as well. Also, I have to say, I almost didn’t recognize her, what with all of those CLOTHES and all.

Just to recap, in case you were wondering, Dita von Teese is a burlesque actress that had a brief shall we say marriage stint with Marilyn Manson. Now she is cashing in on the whole sex sells concept to launch an activist moment. Yes, sexy can even sell A-B-C. No, not kindergarten letters. A – Animal, B – Birth, C – Control. Yup, go spay or neuter your pet because I look hot in this lingerie and heels getup. What is the point even of animal birth control? The dealio is that up to 4 million animals a year are put to death because they can’t find good mommies and daddies to take care of them. So by spaying and neutering, you eliminate the problem before it starts. Now see THAT makes sense, but I’m still not getting the point of the ad. No, I mean, AT ALL.

While she is quite famous for being one of those celebs you either love or hate, no one can deny that Dita Von Teese is outright stunning. What I love is that she does not look like all the other cover faces. Her features are unique, and just breathtaking, and the girl can strike a pose like a master. Here you are seeing her on the cover of Japan’s September 2007 issue. And while she has been making waves in the high fashion print world she has also been running the gamut of fashion shows. She was also seen at the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2008. This took place to celebrate Christian Dior’s 60th Anniversary on July 2, 2007 and was held at Chateau de Versailles in Versailles, Paris. Oh, a girl should be so lucky!

Burlesque model, Dita Von Teese hosted this year’s 2007 Fashion Cares @ the Distillery District in Toronto! Among the celebrities that attended were Jay Manual, Kelly Rowland, and the Pussycat Dolls candidates from the reality TV show ‘The Search for the Next Pussycat Doll’. The founder of the Pussycat Dolls, Robin Antin, was also there in support of fundraising to find a cure.
