Eva Longoria isn’t getting much down time even though the Desperate Housewives writers are still on strike. She is spending her off-time promoting her new movie ‘Over Her Dead Body’. Pictured above is Eve as she leaves her restaurant in Hollywood following an after-party for the premiere of her movie. The restaurant is called Beso, and is one that Eva co-owns with chef Todd English. Below Eva is seen while in the midst of running the talk show circuit in New York City. Eva made appearances on ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘The Martha Stewart Show’. Eva was joined by her stylist Robert Verdi to ensure her whirlwind outfit changes were implemented successfully. Over the course of the day Eva was seen in several outfits, including 2 different fur coats, and a purple dress at one point with a matching handbag.

Here we see the beautiful Eva Longoria at the L.A. premiere of her latest movie “Over Her Dead Body”. Seeing her here, or anywhere these days for that matter, one would never guess this beautiful housewife was once nicknamed ‘ugly duckling’ by her sisters. Eva grew up in a traditional Texan household with two parents and a smattering of sisters. All of her sisters were blonde with hazel eyes, and she had darker sink and hair than anyone in the family. Well, I guess her sisters have to eat some crow, now don’t they. Although, I think she still looks quite pretty here, I wouldn’t even think of calling her ugly duckling. But I will say, that is certainly some true Texan hair! Due to the writer’s strike, Eva is on a break right now from Desperate Housewives, probably getting more beauty sleep. She is also gearing up to shoot a new comedy called ‘Lower Learning’ with Jason Biggs.

The lives of Eva Longoria and b-ball star husband, Tony Parker, are being interrupted as one of their wedding guests has come forward saying she and Tony had an affair. The affair was allegedly started AT the wedding through an exchange of phone numbers and continued afterward. The leak is a 26 year old model named Alexandra Paressant who says her ‘proof’ is that she knows intimate details about Eva and Tony, their sex life, and so on. Details like Eva doesn’t want to do certain sexual things, Eva thinks sperm gives acne, and that she doesn’t like certain positions. If this is PROOF of an affair, things are looser in Hollywood than I expected. However, even just a rumor is enough to cause stirs in marriages, so hopefully this one plays out all right for everyone. But who knows, this could just be another ‘gimme some money to shut up’ kind of things. So hard to say, but once again, time will certainly reveal all in due time.

Eva Longoria has recently revealed that her celebrity idols right now are Demi Moore and Jennifer Lopez. She wants to look just like Demi when she hits her age in about 10 years, and wants to dance like J-Lo. She acknowledges she CAN’T dance like J-Lo, she’d just like to. Well, wouldn’t we all, sweetheart. But she does realize that Demi’s look comes with emotional health, and overall maintenance from a good health perspective and wants to realize that in her own life. She also said in a recent interview with Parade magazine that her life idols are her mom and her sister. She described her mom as the most non-judgemental woman she knows who fully supported her move to Hollywood. And her sister, Liza is mentally challenged. Eva discussed how inspiring it was to watch her sister grow up and overcome everyday hurdles we all take for granted. It’s touching to see this real side of Eva, but I have to say, I don’t think she is going to need to worry about losing her beauty for a very long time.

Just another day out and about for Eva Longoria. Here she is last Thursday shopping in Hollywood at the uber chic Harmony Lane Boutique. Those poor Californians seem to be suffering a bit of a winter heat wave, and Eva dressed appropriately in a strapless white summer dress. It seemed her shop was a bit of a success too! Eva Left Harmony Lane with several shopping bags containing all of her wares. She sort of looks like me when I shop, impatient and rushed. Though if I was spending time at Harmony Lane, I would certainly be taking my time. And is it just me, or is the girl getting a little bonier!? But, she’s still stunningly beautiful and has flawless skin. I wonder what facial scrub she uses… La Mer?
