I guess Sarah Larson must not have that much going on in her life, because she is still riding on the fact that she was once the girlfriend of George Clooney. And she won’t let anyone forget either that she wasn’t just ANY girlfriend, but the only girlfriend he EVER took to the Oscars. (we’ll see how that plays out this year though) But even though she may have been ‘the only’ in terms of Oscar dating material, the fact remains that the two could not have been THAT serious because well, look where they are today. But Sarah loves to be known as one of Georgie’s exes, and doesn’t mind telling you how awful it was.

That’s right, she’s at the point where she is complaining about it, but with such grace and aplomb that she isn’t slinging any mud. Can’t imagine ANY woman ever complaining about even being allowed five minutes with the man, never mind having once been his girlfriend, but well, Sarah wants to make some headlines now, so let’s give her some room. Yes, she says it was pretty nerve-wracking and stressful overall, that being just a nobody cocktail waitress from Las Vegas whose only claim to fame was eating something gross and being paid for it on Fear Factor, guess the time in the spotlight can wear on you. And it wore on her so much that she’s back for more?? That’s right, I hate the media, so let me tell them all about it….whatever. She says though that the pressure of dating a ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ was pretty tight, and that being in the public eye was just a little too much at times.

The ever so sexy George Clooney is seen here attending the Venice Film Festival for his latest film ‘Burn After Reading’ a film where he co-stars with a familiar friend of his, Brad Pitt. And George has made quite a few headlines this year with his hot and heavy relationship with Sarah Larson, cocktail waitress and Fear Factor superwoman. It seemed an odd match, and not one that was expected to have any longevity, and when it didn’t no surprises. But now it seems that George is continuing a trend in Hollywood. What is this, dating your ex is the new black in Hollywood? This is a technique that Kate Hudson has mastered. And of course we’ve got the whole Jen/John thing on again, off again, whatever…This time around for George it is Krista Allen. And I supposed he thinks the third time will be the charm, since he has already dated this porn star twice previously. The official word is that he ‘still has feelings’ and wants to give it another go, but we all know George. The man is married to his work and his single sexy status more than anything else. The L bomb was even used with this one, he just can’t get over her, and she’s always been there for him. And Krista well, she feels the same. Though I think any woman that has ever dated this charmer would have a hard time getting over him. The first go round for this couple started in 2002 when George cast her for ‘Confessions of a Dangerous Mind’. That stint actually lasted a healthy two years, when Krista made the split in 2004. In 2006 came round number two but that one didn’t last quite as long as we all know. So, round number three, we will see who the winner is this time. And though George has made it very clear that he has no desire to bear spawn, he does admit to ‘adore’ Krista’s eleven year old son, Jake. Ah, happy times. Let’s get the pool started now…how long are we giving this one?

Two former winners of the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ title are seen here disembarking a boat to attend the premiere of their latest work together ‘Burn After Reading’. And for anyone that has seen the Ocean’s 11 series, you know that the comraderie and chemistry between these two is fun to watch, which is probably a major factor in the success of the Ocean’s flicks. Given this, their latest work ‘Burn After Reading’ should be quite the entertaining piece. The charming duo were interviewed shortly after one of their premieres to this movie, and they took the moment to play with the media and bantering back and forth in that oh so appealing Clooney and Pitt style that we have come to love. The boys were asked questions about their personal lives, and instead of getting heated by the grilling, they made fun of it. When asked if he would ever ‘settle down’ George Clooney quipped as hearts broke all over America, ‘gosh, I have NEVER been asked that question. Actually… I am getting married and having a child today’. And of course Pitt chimed in deadpan saying that well, he has 6 kids now, and probably a couple more by this time next year, why not take some of his on?? Before the conference was over, Pitt was met by a Spanish journalist who thought it *not crazy* to wear a pair of gym shorts similar to the ones Pitt wore in the movie for his role as a gym trainer. She even went so far as to ask him if he would help her work out. He gently reminded her it was just a movie, that was just a role, that he in fact WASN’T a real gym trainer but she asked him anyway if he could help her train for running by asking if he would run after her. Clooney took that open door and ‘ran’ with it saying Brad would be more likely to run AWAY from her. The rest of the conference went just as similarly with the two running interference with each other to play with the paps. When Brad was asked about the twins Clooney retorted ‘they’re fine’ and when Brad was asked if he had the choice between winning an Oscar or falling in love with an Italian woman, Clooney cut him off lawyer style saying ‘You don’t have to answer that, Brad.’

Sarah Larson is seen here not that long ago when the only thing she was famous for was eating bugs on Fear Factor and for being George Clooney’s girlfriend. Now I guess the only thing she’s famous for is….eating bugs on Fear Factor and being George Clooney’s EX girlfriend. But she says, being the ex of one of the Sexiest Men Alive isn’t all that bad, in fact it has some perks. And she has no ax to grind with George:

“George is a great guy, a wonderful person,” Sarah tells Hello! magazine of the man she dated for nearly a year. “I don’t regret spending time with him. We still remain friends and have kept in touch. In fact, we spoke over the phone a couple of days ago.”

Yes, we’re sure that you did. And since those couple of days ago have passed, we are also sure that George has talked to a few more important people as well. But she says even though she’s been recently kicked to the curb, she’s had an upgrade in her career. Shocking! So your overall plan worked out then, did it, Sarah? She’s been signed for the latest Christian Audiger campaign, and she’s even got her own house now and has ‘all the things she’s ever wanted’ *COUGH* Except George Clooney. Yes, money and a house do soften the blow of a highly publicized breakup, particularly when you really didn’t have to do anything, but couple with an A-lister, to get those things. So Sarah’s a big time model now. Which means, in a few short months she’ll even be forgotten as the ex and will just be another has been model who once ate bugs on TV for money.

George Clooney is seen here shortly after celebrating his 47th birthday in New York a while back, and it seems the age thing is starting to get to our Georgie. He says some of the reputation he’s had stacked over him is getting to be a little too much pressure, particularly as the years go on. Being named a Sexiest Man Alive is a reputation he enjoys, but it takes some work. And believe it or not, but this sexy man works hard for you ladies, to the tune of about 3 to 4 hours in the bathroom every day. Yes, every day. What could he possibly have to do in there? He says he likes the responsibility of ‘being sexy day and night’ but it is not without effort. His biggest worry right now is losing his hair.

“I can only talk about my own experiences. With me, it’s the hair. If you have beautiful and strong hair, then you’re successful with women. In the case of hair loss, it’s all over.”

It’s good to know that even the sexiest celebrities have their own insecurities, but I have a feeling that with George Clooney, the sexy status will not be a short-lived one. He’s got the charisma to back up his charming looks, and that is sexier to women than just about anything. He also says he’s not the playboy he’s made out to be. He’s not afraid of commitment, and is looking for a serious woman to spend some time with on a serious basis. Ah, and what a lucky lady that will be when he finds her…..

And ah yes, if only I could report that the hotties from the Ocean’s series were preparing for the next Ocean’s flick, but this news is even more heartwarming. Long time friends and co-workers Bradd Pitt, George Clooney, and Matt Damon have come together again for a purpose that is much more serious than their Ocean’s films. These stars have all at one time been a winner of People’s Sexiest Man Alive titles, and they are using their fame to launch an advertising campaign for a worthy cause. Myanmar is a country with a ruling regime that has made access to the country difficult for agencies and relief workers wanting to provide aid and assistance since they were the target of last month’s cyclone Nargis. The ad campaign will be featuring your Sexiest Men Alive and is being sponsored by a group known as Not On Our Watch, which is headed up by the Ocean’s 11 boys as well as many other Hollywood A listers. On Wednesday, the group purchased a full page ad in the Indonesian/English language newspaper Jakarta Post speaking out to Burma’s neighbors to provide the power to help the victims of the cyclone. The ad was signed by former Philippine president Corazon Aquino, East Timorese President Jose Ramos-Horta, Archbiship Desmond Tutu, Nobel peace laureate Shirin Ebadi, and former Czech President Vaclav Havel. With these political figures, and Hollywood financing to back them, the Ocean’s gang are hoping to provide more aid to the country that was ravaged by a cyclone on May 2 and 3rd leaving over 137,000 people missing or dead. Kudos to the boys for stepping up once again!!
