First we have Sarah Larson. A D-listed reality famer that quickly found her way into the elite A-list grouping after a few dates with Big Timer George Clooney. A few dates turned into a relationship, and the whole world was shocked that a.) Georgie had a girlfriend, and b.) that she was a cocktail waitress best known for her appearance on Fear Factor. Nobody expected it to last. Even we didn’t. So why are people so surprised when shock, the breakup ax falls? But yes it has, and it has for good. And nobody is talking about it. Well to be honest, Sarah Larson is back to her D-listed fame, she is now known as George Clooney’s ex and so her star will shine a little bit longer, but it will dim some as weeks go by. And no one is talking because a.) Sarah is probably under a confidentiality clause NOT to, and b.) George is too classy to kiss, or breakup and tell. We’ll never know for sure until years down the road, but the rumors are a wailing. First it was because she got implants. And now it’s because he was ‘cheating’. George has been seen with an unnamed woman while on vacay in Lake Como. The story is that they’ve been going at it for a few months and George just hung on to Sarah for her career’s sake, to give her a few extra months of lift to that. But the Lake Como lass was quite the secret until recently. Are you buying it? Uh…no. Not me. I mean, how does someone like George Clooney date anyone in secret? My next thought is, George Clooney does not need to cheat! He can hang up his hat with one lady, and move very quickly on to a long line that is waiting for him….*sigh* Like I said, we will never know, but because they are so quiet it seems people are coming up with just about anything.

You have to hand it to good ol’ George Clooney who has been working very hard to keep his recent breakup with Sarah Larson hush hush. But you know, we DO want to know. But despite what was probably a heartbreaking experience, Sarah Larson has picked up the pieces and seems to be doing very well. She was seen meeting with her agent from Nous Model Management at the chic Chaya Brasserie in Los Angeles the other day. Rumors are affront that this former Fear Factor winner, and Vegas cocktail waitress may have a lingerie campaign in the works. Which gives rise to other rumors that she only used George to jump start her career. However, we do hear talk as well that Sarah went ahead with a breast augmentation to support said career, much to George’s dismay and chagrin, and this may have been the real reason for the breakup. Mmmm….is it me? Or does she not look very augmented…Not only that, I can’t see that as a valid reason for a breakup either. The gossip mongers may have to come up with something else. Will we ever know what happened? Who knows?

Ah yes, it’s true folks. The moment that some of us have all been waiting for. George Clooney and his girlfriend of one year, Sarah Larson, have finally called it quits. George’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, has nothing to say other than no comments on his personal life. So though we don’t know the why’s, does it really matter? Georgie is single again! And we do believe that this was not long coming, considering he has often prided himself with being the most single man in Hollywood. Just this last year Sarah attended the Academy Awards with George which had many tongues wagging simply because this was the first year he had EVER brought a date to the event. But given that, by Tinseltown standards, she sort of came from the wrong side of the track, this was not unexpected. The pair met four years back in Las Vegas when Sarah was working as a waitress at The Whiskey Bar, however nothing real came of it until 2007 when they met for a second time in Vegas. Since then they have virtually been inseparable but now well, you know how it goes. Possible she was just using an A-lister to climb her way to fame? Could be, if that’s all she wanted it will certainly work. Doubt it though, how many rocks does one need in their head to let go of a man like George Clooney? Hush now, I’m waiting for my phone to ring….

Well this is one movie that is getting a lot of steam in PR rooms all over the place. George Clooney and Renee Zellweger are hot on the promo wagon for their new movie together, ‘Leatherheads’. But it was Marie Claire who got to them first to grab some candid quips from the two actors and to shoot a rather enticing spread. George and Renee spoke candidly about who they are, and aren’t, supporting in the upcoming election. And despite the fact that George is a friend of the Clinton’s, to Marie Claire he described Hilary’s opponent as ‘the most eloquent speaker since Kennedy’. On Barack’s campaign, George has a good gut feeling, which is interesting since he is well known for never losing an Oscar’s pool. George says about Obama,

“Well, there are people who are great and will do fine, then there’s a time in your life where you go, ‘This is something spectacular.’”

And even though Renee has been known to be shy and mum with the press on and off, she wasn’t so shy about speaking up about having to work on ‘Leatherheads’ with one of today’s hottest A-listers:

“Oh, there’s a natural comfort there, absolutely. But I was terrified – I didn’t want to be the one who sucked in his movie. You’d much rather disappoint somebody you’re not going to see again.”

Can’t say I’ve ever been the biggest fan of Zellweger, but I’ve said that a lot about some of Clooney’s co-stars in the past, and I have to say, every time I see work with him and someone else, no matter who they are, I can’t help but appreciate their talent a little bit more. ‘Leatherheads’ is coming out soon, and not surprisingly, predicted to be a blockbuster. Until then, tide yourself over with this steamy spread from Marie Claire that is hitting the newsstands TODAY!

Last night was a big night in New York City as many stars came out for the 2008 National Board of Review Awards. Most of the stars were Oscar contenders and all appeared to be in good spirits despite talks that the Oscars may not even go on due to the WG writers strike. In attendance were the likes of Casey Affleck, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Tommy Lee Jones, Jennifer Garner, Denzel Washington, and then of course our beloved George Clooney and his girlfriend Sarah Larson. How old is this girl anyway? While George is of course, at 46, aging beautifully, one can not help but notice the obvious age difference between the pair. Gotta say, she’s done pretty well for a little cocktail waitress from Vegas. I also am quite surprised that his little young thing fling has carried on this far. With his reputation for not wanting to settle down, I have to say I really thought this would have sizzled out by now.

It seems that George Clooney has had his fill of the paparazzi, at least where road rules are concerned.

“You look at the footage of (Britney Spears) running the red light… there’s eight guys with cameras at night in the middle of the street,” Clooney says in an interview to air Tuesday on syndicated entertainment TV show “Entertainment Tonight.”

“What they’re doing is illegal,” the actor says. “It’s high-speed chases and they’re competing with each other. They’re not trying to catch me doing something stupid, they’re trying to create me doing something stupid. You don’t get to break all these laws and then simply say,`I’m just doing my job.’” ~ The Huffington Post

These thoughts from George came after an incident a few days ago when he was out on his motorcycle again. He just wants the paparazzi to respect the rules of the road, he acknowledges that they can take his picture and do all they want, but reiterates he does not want to see them put anyone in danger. The other day he actually had to pull off the side of the road and admonish the photographers that were making road travels a little harried for him. And sorry to report girls, but he’s still hanging out with that Sarah Larson chiquita as it seems she was with him at the time. It’s good that someone is stepping up to this issue though, as we have seen tragedies born just out of this very factor. Way to go George!
